Ehhh...gimmick cleat. Nike has lost its touch when it comes to football gear. This shoe is a clear copy, IMO of the UA Highlight series. It has been proven over and over again that the higher a shoe goes doesn't mean that it will provide better ankle support. Flyknit is fine - lighter weight but it will be interesting to see what type and how much backing is in the inside of the shoe to support that Flyknit. Looks pretty pliable so maybe not a whole much. Recycling the plate is what bothers me for this line along with the Speed Series using the same plate as some of the original vapor pros. Innovate - that is what Nike was known for. If all they are going to do is retool the uppers and keep the same plate they might as well retro the original Zoom Vapor Carbons.
Just wait till the review. I think you might change your mind. The plate on the speed is a long time favorite of NFL players (even though it doesn't perform as well as the Vapor Pro Plate)...best plate ever in my opinion. In my behind the design video we talked about that.
Untouchable Elite isn't for me. Don't like the look. Will check in for the review though to hear your thoughts. More interested in the review for the Untouchable Pro 3s. Could have got them early but didn't because I still have multiple, new pairs of the Untouchable Pro. You are right...the Vapor Pro Plate was the best. Even better than the original Vapor Carbon plate. So we know that Nike still has the mold for that particular plate...retro the Air Jordan Speed Jet and probably the best Nike speed cleat ever the Vapor Jet 4.2. Good channel and content! I think it's slightly different. The reason why you use tape instead of an ankle brace is because (when done right) it provides support WITHOUT limiting mobility. Where a brace is easier to put on but limits mobility.

Update. Lineman can use these I’m play oline/dline and these fit like a glove. Pro are use mostly for skills players.
