As a service provider I always see the CAPETOWN Highway patrol assisting someone multiple times per day and wanted to say good job your work is outstanding and should serve as an example to how policing should be done in the rest of South Africa

Great series, our traffic officials makes the difference on our roads today, 20 years ago you won't see traffic vehicles in residential areas only on main roads,, Keep up the good work All💪

I used to work in Emergency Service(14 years to be exact)....the comradreship and professionalism we have amongst peers in the WC is really something else.
People tend to think they are above being corrected...I always find it fascinating that the road rules despite being clear, its adults that dont obey it,thinking that their time is more valuable than the next person...the same adults thats raising kids.
The job you do is often thankless but dont forget its highly honorable.
Nobody wants to get pulled over LOL, but just know you ladies and gents are much respected on the roads...despite the flack from know it alls.

Hoping i pass my physical assessment next week in George so i can go the Gene low college and save peoples lives and prevent accidents on the road as a traffic officer,as my dad was one and ended up being a Superfine in PE he actually inspired me to be a Traffic❤

In KZN the Traffic Police are an endangered species. From the motorists point of view, it's due to total lack of interest from the Powers That Be.
To see how the service COULD be is inspirational, but there would need to be a MASSIVE change in the attitude of the provincial managers.
    I LONG for that day!

why is the guy sitting in the front seat with his hand cuffed in front of him. if he is violent he could easily grab the steering wheel or the officers weapon?

You know this is something I tell so many people who moan infront of me over our safety category of how they are so rude etc but I mean every day you need to deal with some scum bag trying to swindle you out of giving him a ticket for something you gotta do. They then get aggro and treat you like some object and then people expect you to be able to ask nicely knowing that there is a damn high % chance that you are going to need to be that firm again to have someone listen.
