Hydro Dipping has of course been around for many many years and so many products are used. However after an extensive search I could not find Hydro Dipping Jesmonite on You Tube. I have to warn you .. once you start you may not be able to stop. It is a tad addictive like most things ! haaaa

I think those came out so pretty!!! The gold really does do special things to the other colors. Love it.

CLAIR! STOP IT!!LOL every time you do something new with this stuff or resin, then it gives me a flood of ideas I MUST do, and I don't have time for more projects!! I never comment cause my hands are always full of resin while I'm watching, you should see my keyboard. I had to speak up this time. Keep up the good work, my favs used to be Sharon and Pouring your heart out, but now you are my go to. They create wonderful art, but you try to push the mediums. I love it!

Color combinations are great. The one suggestion I’d give you is more paint. Seemed you were a bit skimpy. But these pieces ended up lovely. I appreciate your experimentation.

Oh my word that plant pot!!! love it. The effects the chalk paint gave was amazing too. Looked very spacey, love it all as usual 🥰
that pot really was saved by the spray paint I am so happy with it and it will actually go so well in our living room they are our colours and omg the lacing on that chalk paint :) so gorgeous x

Awe, Claire! I know what you mean about a project that just doesn't meet your own standards. We are our own worst critics! People have different likes and dislikes. I like purple, you like blue. Preferences are subjective....always! Believe me, I have had plenty of projects that to me just wasn't what I was going for. I was about to throw it away. But a neighbor actually loved it. I told her she could have it. It is now proudly displayed as a centerpiece for her side table. But yes, as artists, we need to keep trying until it feels right. By the way, congratulations to the give winners!!!!
ohhh Charlene this is so true ! it really is subjective for sure x How lovely for your neighbour though ha I have so many pieces that I love and so many that are acceptable but just not for me lol

Love the combo colours, but I like to go with a bronze with blue colours. Not that the blue and gold don't look fantastic ❤
ohhhh Dawn Bronze is gorgeous too ...wish I had Bronze spray paint :)
Maybe the term for the black-gold is whispy? Sounds better than blotchy thag was my tired mind's second option... Anyway, they are all lovely and yes, there are definite van Gogh vibes all over them!
ooooh yes Whispy haaaa so much better than blotchy for sure .. Honestly wouldnt have though of Van Gough unless you all said it but they really are Van Gogh meets Nebula lol

Love the results, Claire. One Q: it seems like the jesmonite pieces now have some texture on the surface because of the hydro dipping... is it just me? Also, how do you seal them?
These are all so pretty and unique! A quick question about the choice of paint - I don't have an outdoors space, so I do all my crafts either in my bedroom or in the kitchen, so spray paint is a no no. Do you think this would work with any other type of paint? Liquid acrylic paint swirled from a bottle, maybe, or even ink?

No .. it tends to have dispersed by then 😁
Can these be used outside or will it need some sort of coating to stop the rain destroying it
