Treasure your few friends.
By the time I was 18, I pretty much gave up on trying to fit in. I figured, I was a nice person , if someone doesn't like I me , then oh well. I didn't waste my time trying to fit into a Clique. Just try to be a true person.

Probably not.
If you reach an age where you are alone, scant few buddies that maybe you don't even talk on the daily, it may mean, that you arrived where you are, on your own accord. I miss a once great friend of mine, but at the age I cut ties, I was a different person. I hesitate to contact years later as I or even my once close friend is now. It would be great. Same can happen with say a brother. I tell my niece, if we talk again, he may not like who I am today.. There may be serious conflict. But then again, I'm happier, and calmer, focused and like a stoic statue, one foot forward.
