Another great video thanks Al. We're back in Sidari right now, we only got home 3 weeks ago but flights were so cheap we just couldn't resist a cheeky 3 night break. Keep the videos coming, they really help us understand how things are in the current situation. Here's the hoping theres some normality next year!

Would love to visit Corfu from US this Fall. Beach is certainly not first priority...we would like olive trees and fauna & flora more. Getting to know the locals, nice meals & wine......certainly not party people, but don’t object those who are. Would Fall be a good time to visit ? And where do we find some nice isolated bungalow in which to stay? Any advice is appreciated. Good to see you up & about , Corfu Al.

Hi Peter, well to be honest I live in Acharavi, Roda and Sidari patch where prices are reasonable, if they were not I would be the first to say so 'cos I am a cheapskate. Agios Georgious is the same mostly Greek bars and tavernas, happy people, hope you had a good time. Al.

Hi Al I was a rep in Ipsos in the early 80s to mid ,then Dassia and Benitsis then Kavos. I cant believe how Ipsos has become a ghost town. It was so full when I was there ,that people were nearly getting run over when walking from one bar to another. As for Albanians,they used to get a lorry innertubes and paddle to Kassiopi and get get work in tavernas, now they run the gaff. Work that one out.

Far prefer your neck of the woods, reasonable prices and sandy beaches! Hopefully myself and family will make it out next year and treat you both to that long promised drink.......or five! Lovely hearing from you again yeh the travel sanctions have hit the island big style it's dead will take a while to recover, couldn't sit on that beach all day with the traffic noises wouldn't feel relaxed,but great price in the Italian 5e for lge wine and a beer,would be in there every day for a few,take care AL all the best👍👍
Hi Alan, Thanks for watching, I think there fair priced drinks out there, I must admit to being shocked at the prices in some bars, especially 10 Euros and 7 euros for sun beds which in Acharavi and Roda are free if you buy a drink and a few pennies if you dont. Stay safe. Al

A great update as always Al. I was down at Agios Georgious Argyrades until yesterday and prices down there seemed very reasonable.
