Seriously how aren't you a coach of the year winner? Lol you've literally shaved strokes off my game. Shot a 91 today. Lowest score of my life lol. Previous best was 102 and it was at this course. Currently a 25 handicap but man you've made this game fun again. I wish I found you at the beginning of the season. Definitely going to lower this handicap before seasons end. Thanks for all you do.
Awesome, Clay. Its amazing how you explain intricate details on a subject and no two videos are duplicative or repetitive. Thanks for what you do for golf community. I personally have benefitted a bunch from these.
What a great visualization of the hand position from right leg to impact. Even the explanation of degrees between short and long irons makes total sense. Thank you AGAIN for another great tip!
Glad I watched this as it confirmed what I recently discovered on my own. Rotation and moving the handle around the body with the clubhead lagging makes better contact, increases clubhead speed and results in better shots.
I think hands being in front of the *right* (trailing) hip is contrary to what 99.% of golfers have been trained to believe. We’ve been taught to *pull* the arms through and past the ball. Accordingly, I’ve always pictured them being in front of my left (lead) hip at impact. #mindblown.
Thanks! They are about the same as far as performance goes. I haven't played the Prov1's much but they seem to be a little more durable. Play well! Quentin | TSG Instructor
Clay, I have that shaft lean and compress my 6-W like a champ, my issue is that I'll tend to lean while hitting my long irons. It's bad juju. The other issues I have are with the driver.
Hey Clay, I am happy to join your annual membership if you fix one thing for me. I know that everyone has to shallow the club and swing in to out to maximize distance and avoid slice. I also have seen most of your free videos of how not to cast club and swing straighter and longer. However after all these videos , I have still not understood one thing. I am a left handed golfer and i dont know the good role of wrists. Specially how to time the wrist movement in back swing. So far i try to rotate my body first and in midway of my back swing, i push my rear wrist more towards shoulder and this adds extra yards to my shots and also i feel like i shallow the club better however it is very inconsistent (50%) I cant find any good videos on this and i see most tour players caulk their wrists to make a power move. I unfortunately am inconsistent because of this. Can you help?
Other golf coaches say lean your hands forward and dig down into the ball , getting so confused now... this is why my golf game is not great, just too many things going on in my head, I seriously should just stop watching these 🙄
This has never been explained better! Thank you!!
Glad you liked it!

Great explanation of what it takes to make good contact/compression.How do you like the Snell balls compared to the Titleist?
Thanks! They are about the same as far as performance goes. I haven't played the Prov1's much but they seem to be a little more durable. Play well! Quentin | TSG Instructor
Awesome as always 👍🏻😁
Thank you! Cheers!
Yeah great visual training
Thanks!
In my opinion this is the most poorly understood concept in the game. What a great lesson.
Thanks!

Play the ball more forward with longer irons and let the club release more.
Top Speed Golf - Clay Ballard thanks. You figure about 1 or 2 ball widths from center?

I unfortunately am inconsistent because of this.

Hey Vikas, see my message on your last posts.
searching for Knuckle Dragger on the website does not list any results unfortunately
This game is so hard. Constantly just fucks with you. But oh so addictive
Hope the videos help. 😀
I try all this stuff and it just doesn’t work not just here but anywhere on line
Golf's hard .
I agree

Just different ways of saying the same thing
@@TopSpeedGolf after watching the full video it's more clear to me now, thanks
