😮 Hi I'm French sorry 🤦♂️ I don't understand oral English I hesitate to buy the Apple Watch ultra for all it's options but I'm looking for the solidity a 4x4 watch with significant autonomy and resistance: what is the gshock better in case of survival?
Well, I agree with you - I don't need marketers spying on me 26 hours a day (out of 24 hours), 9 days a week (out of 7 days - yes I'm hoping this comes across as funny), and my phone is doing more then good enough job at that on it's own... That is why I'm looking at this G-Shock. 🙂
I got mine on Saturday through Amazon. It's the yellow one. Couldn't ask for more. This watch does, like you said does everything it's supposed to do. Very happy with it 🙏🙏🙏
You're not the only one getting pain in the wrist, I had the Apple Watch series 6, 44mm and I was getting an ache after wearing it consistently for a couple of weeks. I stopped wearing it for a day and the pain stopped straight away. I tried this several times before deciding to not use it at all.
Does anyone know if it is possible just to turn Bluetooth off on the watch? I mean if I want to disconnect it from my phone I need to unpair it, which is "okayish.." but then if I want to connect it again, I need to pair it and need to go through the basic settings again. Thanks!
If you like to train in specific HR zones, you can cycle through screens with the up and down buttons during your workout to set it to a HR Zone monitor. you basically listed the same reasons I went with this watch over others (like apple or instinct 2).
I’ve pretty much stopped wearing my Apple Watch because of that exact reason, I don’t want to be connected. I use it for sleep to wake me up in the morning but that’s it. I’m rocking the 5610 and rangeman and that’s as “techy” as I’ll ever go now.. love them!
i am looking for the comparison between samsung watch 6 pro and gshock gbdh2000, right now am wearing the g shock GBD200, been wearing this watch for almost 2 years now and now i think i need to upgrade more, been thinking about GBDH2000 and samsung watch 6 pro... i want to know if any of you guys ever wear sw 6 pro and gbdh2k... Of course i am a G shock Lover but i need to know so i wont be dissapointed in the future... Thanks 🙏🏻
I’ve been experimenting with the Garmin Fenix 7 Pro and it’s revolutionized my wearable excitement! I’ve abused it too, 32 degree cold plunged and 240 degree sauna use. Been a champ.
I just want to say how cool of a review this is. I love the points made and I lean into that perspective without a doubt. Who would have figured that the friendliest most charasmatic guy is antisocial. At least when it comes to social apps. 🤔 It's the smart kind of antisocial, you're focused on what matters!!! I think I'm going to get this watch. Thanks so much for the great info David!!! (I wish you and the family only the best). Take care and do keep your thing. 🤟
I like garmin as well, but the reason I choose G-Shock over Garmin is because like the Garmin instinct 2 just doesn't seem as durable as G-Shock. Like if you pull the Garmin instinct 2 band hard enough or as if it got snugged on something it's like it would rip compared to G-Shock
Solid watch! Once you get to a certain point you have to connect to delete workouts or you run out of storage. I’ve been testing the Garmin Fenix 7 and it’s easily the best wearable I’ve ever worn.
It connects to Apple health (or Stava) to share data but I’d still take an ultra 2 over it unless you need the longer battery life. I’m in the Apple ecosystem and just got this g-shock gbd-2000 on sale, may keep it for having a backup smart watch but no way should this be a primary if you are near a wall outlet. Apple or Garmin would be my choice. I’ve been on my Apple se for a couple years, the extended battery life is now what I seek.
@@DavidMausJr Wow, thats awful. Even the most basic smart watches can nail that on the daily. my curent galaxy watch 5 pro gives that info when you wake and start to move. Another miss by Casio.
I am a newcomer in the world of watches. My first buy (last month) was Casio vintage silver band. Then I bought g shock GM 2100. I always wanted the solid G-shocks and solar and with lots of features. And boom G shock launched GBD h2000. I am dying to buy this watch. Gotta wait 2 months. More hehe. Till then thank you for your content brother.
🔴 I'm absolutely with you, of course it is horrible to have watches which all the time want to try to connect to other gear and I have exactly the same sensation on my wrist. But this also happened to me when I wore the H2000 through the night during sleep. Therefore I think it's not only the cellular activity but also all the sensors being active from time. That never happened to me with my GW-9200, which instead I'm going to keep. But what made me worry is that both the gw9200 and h2000 as well showing different values. And I remember from the past my gw9200 was pretty correct when I was in the himalayas 🔴
I dont really need to see my sleep data, after over a year with Whoop i learned about the habits and schedule that works best for me so i have it down now. Im a massive fan of the Gshock after wearing it for a week+ now. So many quality options out there! Glad you enjoyed this!
It is funny , i bought it because i like the fact that it has blue tooth but i totally feel you since i usually wear mechanical watches . I find the notifications useful since i am a tennis coach and having to check my phone in the middle of a lesson just to see it was scammers or something not important is a no no, but i can totally see what you are saying about blue tooth,.
@@DavidMausJr well I use the app to update the watch with the alarms, I need to be on top of things, and it’s more motivation to be more active then I am, if I set it to 8000 steps for the day, and if I am not at that point I see my steps, oh stairs and not the elevator.
THANK YOU ALL FOR WATCHING!
What videos would you like to see next?
LET ME KNOW!

No, many other feel the same way, we don't want all this connection junk on wrist. Amazing video
Exactly! 👍
It looks good on you, bud! 💪🏻
Glad there are other Bluetooth avoiders out there.
You and me both!
Great video! Thanks

Can You take the info from the app and move it to google fit, Strava etc. The GBD 1000 only let you send the info to Strava
Love it so much! Exactly what I was looking for!
I’m not sure I don’t plan on exporting any data. Simple powerhouse of a watch and activity tracker

I don’t always describe myself as a multi sport athlete, but when I do I immediately run a 10 minute mile to prove it.
Haha me too 😝
Ur not the only one..f bluetooth..I'll have it off 95% of the time

Good stuff! It’s nice to have everything without all the constant connections
What about its heart rate accuracy??
Its close but all the trackers I wear are finicky and most athletes who care only go by the chest straps for the closest readings.
Hi David,
Curious if you're still using the watch 9 months later. Im looking to buy this watch as fitbit to me isnt worth it.
Thanks.
I have it but switched to the Garmin Fenix 7. Absolutely love it! Handles my lifestyle with ease!
@@DavidMausJr thanks for the reply. I will check out the Fenix 7. Thank you
I have a little review of that as well@@JDM417
@@DavidMausJrwhy did you switched in the end? What’s wrong with gbdh2000?
i presume you never tried Garmin ..
All I’ve worn for about a year now. This video was before that
@@DavidMausJr super 👌
@@DavidMausJr so gshock didn’t cut it?
I'm not quite enough the athlete to pay for the H2000, but I really like the other Move line.
Totally I get that! I love the move line as well
Great video! Thanks Mr. Maus! Im going to check out this watch, been wearing the whoop for a while
Thank you!

Thank you!
I bought 1 today because of you! I dont need connectivity, just a tough watch with heart rate.
Bro! Love this. Ordering now!
Do it bro! Great watch!
How long does the battery go if you are 24/7 on bluetooth with notifications from phone?
Havent tested it like that but i can say longer than the iphone, less that the garmin fenix 7
Why you don t buy a ordinary watch? Why a smartwatch?🤔
I like steps, HR during activity and Cals
Im thinking of getting the BGR 1000
Any chance do you know if the heart rate would work with people with tattoos around the wrist?
Great question, i dont have wrist tattoos and cant weigh in on it but from what i have heard, that is a problem with almost all wrist wearables.

Recovery. How’s it compare to Whoop? Thanks
Whoop gives a lot more recovery data.

How many pounds is the vest?
20
Could it be display in positive? thanks
Not sure how to answer the question, but the display has a ton of custom modes and views.
How's the sleep Tracking?
terrible
It takes a week or so of sleeps to give me a reading. Not too worried about it. I use it more for activities
