When Camomo banned thousands of cheaters in just 30 days, it’s clear this game has taken a turn for the worse with cheaters.

No one actually cares play vanilla moded severs with admins.
Every one that plays rust for a short period of time knows official is full of cheaters.
@richardbusta8899 a team of 23 got banned 2 days into wipe on rustoria man. All at once after fucking on everyone for 2 days. 18 more got banned the next day at once. Every hour 1 or 2 cheaters are banned. But not before they do damage and ruin wipes. 20k hours and I'm finally done as of last week. Admins might catch most , but accounts are 3 to 5 bucks for a cheater. They can buy 20 or 30 at a time to continue on. Admins don't stop everyone or even half. They get the rage cheaters and blatents that's about it

We ran into this exact same thing and my group raided and despawned everything. The main clan lost their minds and sent us all sorts of messages. I see why people are leaning to more monitored servers that have admins out the ass.

That is super sad man. I personally can not stand heavily moderated servers because in my experience some get power hungry and I am not for it. At the same time, I totally get why people are preferring it over having days of progress ruined by a bunch of no skill idiots that want to ruin everything for everyone. I can't imagine having any fun as a cheater. What's the point? Where's the fun? Is it just fun to ruin other people's day? Is it fun to never die and never face adversity? What kind of life is that?
@@HansDesterThey cheat because they lack the skill. Cheats fill in their skill gap. The added bonus is it ruins it for the legit players, which inflates their already tiny egos.
Thank you for despawning it. Feels kinda weird when people raid cheater bases, yell about how much they hate cheaters....but then take all the hacked loot. You are basically cops coming in and busting drug dealers, just to take the drugs and cash.
Just shows why people cheat. Easy stacks of loot is hard to pass up for a lot of people.

I was on the server a few days after the events of this video, AGAIN ... and at this point I dont think im switching servers, not if you're gonna log on day 1 and get rid of all the cheaters, coz I barely saw any rest of the wipe, doin gods work, keep this shit up ..

You are the best mate! Stopped playing rust after playing for 2.2k hours a year or two ago and started playing different stuff but I still find my self coming back time and time again to watch your videos. Keep up the great work my man, you really are the best.

Because of the epidemic of cheaters, this game is losing its credibility terribly. The blame lies primarily with the gaming community, which either cheats or tolerates this dishonest phenomenon.
It is a great pity that the developers of the game have to spend so much effort on the fact that so many people cannot appreciate one of the basic values between people - honesty.
The reality is that the developers of the game face a huge problem of fighting against chiters.... it's just that in the eyes of a large part of the community, the developers are either unreliable in terms of motivation to fight the phenomenon or incompetent.
Personally, it's sad to watch your video, and instead of being an inspiration to me it makes me question whether I even still want to play a game chewed up by dishonest people.
I know rust is a sickness, but to spend 1500 for someone to farm for you is beyond mental.

Man, you got to be a part of something really cool. One side fending off cheaters while working with admins to find the evil masterminds behind things. The other side risking their accounts and actual money to try to bend and break the rules to get ahead for just a taste power for a bit. Not much measures up to something like that. It all has to happen naturally for it to be what it is. But thanks for recording it and sharing it with us in such a quality format.

@@SinfulEuphxria I don't think it's about the loot, if it was you'd be right about moded servers, I think it's about the internal drive to have power over others. They don't want to be at or even near the same level as anyone else so they cheat.
There are some situations, that are a bit ironic, where cheating in a game becomes so prevalent that the playing field becomes level again as cheating is the norm. So when everyone is cheating it's like no one is. That's why cheaters don't like to play in places where you're allowed to cheat (akin to where everyone gets an extraordinary amount of loot for little effort like in moded servers).
Plenty are paying for cosmetics in the game, yet just about no one is complaining.
Cheating is definitely more for the psychological impact it has for them and the distress it causes others. It's not about the game itself or the virtual items in it. It's a tool to get that satisfaction. It's a sad thing, but these are scummy humans that either have a terrible life or are just plain malevolent. It's going to be prevalent in a space that mostly preserves your anonymity, like online gaming. It's a power/ego trip 100%. Internet has brought the worst out of people on a grand stage for everyone to see and participate in without many consequences

Major props for posting a video with a failed raid. I know its in context of the total video but so many creators would have clipped that part out. Raiding is hard and too many casual rust viewers think its just a guaranteed win when you raid.

If almost every rust youtubers and stramers didn't cheat maybe it could settle a good example to those kids. You can see rust youtubers like hjune, post, bloo etc saying "i think I've heard someone" when you can't hear shit and that a proof that they use esp or crosshair esp. Also even with this new recoil if you pay attention to they aim you will notice a macro/script pattern like 99% of the time with aimlock too, not to mention actors and scripted content.

I've recently come back to rust after taking a 3 year break, and the cheating is even worse now than it was then. Wild that it's become so much worse.
Streamers are making millions chilling with wallhacks and small fov aim assist. Rust is perfect for them because there are no LAN events and you can cheat as much as you want
@@gdgd5194 I stay away from accusations that cant be proven, but its not just rust @ParkDaddy42, almost all games with any sort of competitive element are being overrun by cheaters. Shit even Minecraft servers are dealing with them.
My theory, the latest generation of gamers are bitches. its the only thing that makes sense, we had cheaters in 2007 but holy fuck this is a whole new level. I have swapped to single player games for the most part, playing monster hunter and last night some dude 1 shot our hunt and another random monster roaming before timer expired. Cant even get away from them on monster hunter. the fuck.
I mean, they have had had 3 years to make better cheat software, and what meaningful anti-cheat change has FP made in those three years? If resources aren’t invested in developing and improving a solid anti-cheat, cheaters will always have the upper hand
@@KevinLindstromMedia oh sweet summer child, here is a universal truth, offense is more powerful than defense, example: plate armor and shields were easily countered by what? crossbows, walls were countered by trebuchets and the like, armor was overwhelmed by larger caliber rounds and around and around we go.
Its a waste of money overall, there is no situation in gaming where anyone can properly keep shit fair and fun, not without draconian measures and even then some people will find a way.
The only way we see a change is for gamers themselves to stop buying online resources like gold and cheats in general. Doubt its gonna happen.

idk I played the game through someones old account they had it on through steam and connected them so i could play both accounts games idk if that is still a thing or how it would work if i got banned but I assumed on steam you could just quick make a new account connect the 2 accounts and boom ur good but idk it could be that if oyu get banned all connected accounts are as well and you have to buy the game again I hope its the 2nd but could see how they are so common if its the first and id blame that on steam

I swear to many games let cheaters continue because they buy the game over and over again. They risk the ruining the experience of the game for money, they don't care. Their priority is skins and money
face punch doesn’t make money off cheaters. They use either stolen accounts, cheap steam accounts with rust already purchased etc. No cheaters are buying rust from the store.
