    I tried this! It was good! I also added some condensed milk to the mixture! My girl really likes durian so I made one with fresh durian, durian ice cream and durian egg rolls. She was really happy so I’m really happy 😊
    For another version I also tried putting matcha powder into the mix to make a matcha bingsu with matcha ice cream, matcha pocky sticks and matcha mochi. Straight up banger!
    So easy yet so delicious! Thanks!

    On extreme hot summer day, I enter the food court that has air condition working perfectly fine. I order the snow cone 🍧 or kakigori or frio frio or whatever we call it. I enjoy it, and my need is fulfilled and I am satisfied. Then I go outside, which is 100 degrees out there, I get thirsty again. All the stuff that made me happy inside the food court is all gone in just one instant.

    • @mckaylamefford9786
      @mckaylamefford9786 4 года назад +1

      @@khounapa9306 2% milk refers to the fat percentage. So, when you hear "whole milk," it means none of the fat was taken out. I read an article just now that says that 2% milk has 5 grams of fat, while whole milk has 8 grams. 1% milk has 2.5 grams, and lastly, skim milk has 0 grams of fat.
      The change differs depending on how much fat is in it.
      Personally, I really like whole milk because it tastes creamer and has a slightly more creamy texture. :)
      But 2% is a good middle ground between skim milk and whole milk, it's right down the middle.

      If you're allergic from the corn part of the syrup, try other types of glucose syrup available(potato, wheat, beet), mostly I find this at Chinese baking store. You can also use inverted sugar or golden syrup or honey but you'll need to add more since those syrups are a combination of glucose and sucrose, while you need the glucose part of the syrup for the ice to be "airy". I don't recommend this since it will make your ice really sweet.

    Has anyone tried to blend this up to achieve the same texture ?

      We haven't personally tried, but my gut tells me it won't be the same. I feel like a blender would create more of a slushy rather than a soft fluffy ice. I remember Vitamix does something like this for sherbet, but it's not light and fluffy.

    Can we skip the glucose?

    • @KindofCooking
      @KindofCooking  4 года назад

      No sorry, the glucose is what gives it the fluffiness. Maybe you can try honey or some other liquid sugars...
