Dweezil has picked up the mantle of playing Frank's music, but the free-thinking man that Frank was will never be duplicated.

We're Only in it for the Money is my all-time favourite album. If Zappa was a genius, it was this LP that, to my ears, best showcased that extraordinary imagination and creativity. During the clip, Zappa said two Sgt. Pepper parodies had already been released. Does any one know about these albums?
Think of how much more content Zappa could have produced if he could have had all his legal, contractual, money hassles taken care of by a really competent, trustworthy aide.

I’m a beetle fan I have been since I was seven years old in 1966, what are you gonna tell me? Also a Frank Zappa fan seen him many many times over the years, so what do you want to say the Frank Zappa was jealous? Yes, we all know Frank Zappa had jealousy and him same as McCourtney and Lennon. Bob Dylan had jealousy them too. They’re all a little jealous of somebody they all have egos, so what else is new?
@@johnlopiccolo848 Zappa was jealous of no one. If you look at the whole video, you will see that without Zappa's Freak Out to inspire the beatles to do sgt p. the beatles would just be another boy band.
The Beatles were far more original than Zappa, or Dylan. Their change on the culture is self-evident. Neither Frank or Dylan could hope to comprehend Paul McCartney's song writing abilities. I go thru periods of listening to Dylan & Zappa, but really, it's "Beatles Forever" !

Why would anyone want to do a parody of the Sgt Pepper cover? I think it is a silly and childish idea and the brilliant Zappa was indeed very immature sometimes.
Why not? Hendrix was there and that alone made it worth it. It is funny and thought provoking.
