Awesome. I want one for my 338 ARC build. Hope they are out in the next few months
Love the size. Wish it had more mounting options though: mini ACOG or T1/T2 pattern.
When is launch anticipated?
Neat optic, I’ve been wanting more compact 1-4s on the market. I’d be excited to run one in some matches once they’re out. Though immediately a couple things about the optic id prefer just in my use of several different optics.
Dial illumination with off settings inbetween each ideally. It’s just a lot more convenient and user friendly than fiddling with buttons.
A shorter throw would be nice too, it’s a 1-4x, i don’t need to be particularly precise with my adjustments, a short 90 degree angle would be far quicker and easier to change in a pinch.
Mini ACOG or some other modular base. Giving the option to run it higher if you prefer or lower for rifles others than ARs would be nice. Not everything I want to use is an AR and sometimes I want to optimize for those.
I’ve also had enough QD stuff fail on me I’d rather just have a GI crossbolt and big recoil lug than a QD lever. Even from premium brands like ADM I’ve had issues with QD levers so the juice really ain’t worth the squeeze.
Either way interesting product, will be nice to see how it develops
So when can we expect to see it being reviewed by third parties? Cool as it is, hype culture has burned way too many people including myself
ok im ready to order. when are you shipping
I had to try so hard to find this video. Excited about the leap in tech, eliminating the need of two prisms like an elcan. How is the magnification not fixed?
Witchcraft! Just new technology man, we can't be giving out all our trade secrets...
Is it compatible with helmet-mounted night vision when at 1x? I'm dying for something a little more user-friendly in terms of eye box than the Elcan.
We have not tested this ourselves yet but it is a 1.6 inch mounting height so the clearances will be close.
@ They make risers for that :)
Can you explain the reticle? Is it BDC like a vortex spitfire etc?
Looks like 2MOA hash marks, as best as I can tell from the drawing.
Please check out the reticle diagram near the bottom of the page for more info! zerotechoptics.com/p/1-4x24-variable-prism/
Anyone figure out the optic height yet? 1.5? 1.64? 😮
1.6!
How’s this different than a 1-4x LPVO?
lighter, more compact and less expensive.
look at it
Made in china ?
