Greetings all. I'm retired military with 20 yrs combined active duty service. I find it perplexing that this kind of of information is released out to the public at large. Maybe things have changed in the OPSEC world since I wore the uniform. By itself, this bit of military information may not be too important to foreign intelligence agencies but can be used to build a bigger picture on what we are up to. Could be wrong of course. Just my perspective/opinion. Stay frosty out there people. Complacency kills.
Not sure, I’m in a navy town and on a few of our local community pages there’s certain comments about coming/going and it’s plans, especially for the subs, hell man most of the garage door openers get blocked out when there’s carrier activity going on
With satellites there are no arrival/departure dry dock secrets for surface ships. Adversaries already knew. So this doesn't make much difference.
È’ sempre una grande emozione vedere un’unità USA che solca il mare Grazie
❤
That's huge
God Bless U.S.Navy.🇺🇸🦅💀⚓️✝️🙏🏻
It so damn crazy to see them out of the water. I was in drydock on two of my own, South Carolina and Camden. One of the more amazing things I saw was the Eisenhower up on blocks. The dry dock swallowed South Carolina. Eisenhower took up every last inch of the the dry dock and hung out over the sides
I served onboard her from 2000 - 2004. Home ported at Sasebo, Japan. Most of that was on the Fan Tail working with the 2 CIWS. Spent years with one of the best views off the back end. Lotta beautiful sea and sky. Miss those times.
GO NAVY. WE OWN THE SEAS.
We need 20 more LHD's with a Squadron of F35s. For what a Ford Class Carrier cost w/delays we could build 3 or 4 LHDs. Forward and Onward.
Go Blue Team!! 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🇺🇦 ❤️ 🇮🇱 ❤️ 🇦🇺
You put the drain plug in right?
