It's a slow dance Disco tune or pair of dancers focal dance song. It has no solo interest in dance unless we are focusing on a woman squeezing a pillow with a set dresser mirror furniture solo performance. A pair of dancers (male and female equivalence) to a dreamy lonely woman dancing in front of a set mirror piece holding a pillow to squeeze dance song.

I absolutely adore this song. I was in my Disco heyday. Many dates, mucho dancing. BUT, I do not want to argue tremendous memories, best Disco, Trampps : Disco Inferno.
I was 10 when this group arrived but my god what amazing sounds. This was music for the ladies!! Men also!! 😂 But like you see in this video the ladies make pure and utter love to the music. Amazing to witness and I'm very, very thankful that even younger people acknowledge the power of such talents gone by. In the late 70s- Early 80s this form of pure funk was something from the heart and I can never forget. But for the ladies in this video I'm blown away completely!!!!

This is my favorite song of all time. I never really thought of why, but it makes sense after years of pondering. It's a snapshot of a time in my life when I realized I truly love music. And it is one hell of a groove.
It's just about the perfect soundtrack for the big bad sexy dangerous late 70s/early 80s New York City nightcrawler life. It just mere seconds of this song, no matter what age you are now; BOOM...it's 1979 at like 11 pm on any given night - and you're waiting on line to get in to Studio 54 or Xenon or Danceteria or Copacapana etc - as Walt Frazier or John Belushi or Bette Midler or Geraldo Rivera cut you in line in the freezing January cold. And this song is blasting from the inside keeping your endorphins warm.

Being born in '73 I grew up on many different genres of music. Rock, hard rock 🎸, soul, R&B, funk, etc. I remember Being about 5 when my moms had thrown a party [after my bedtime, of course]]. I remember this song they played night. I was at the top of the stairs listening & I loved it then, & I love it even more now. This is definitely my favorite Chic song
