    Thx Matt, that was very helpful. How would you manage the caching options. There are 4 of them and I can't find any documentation on when 'or why to use one or the other: 1) Purge pages, 2) Preload cache, 3) Purge pages and preload or 4) Purge everything and preload

    • @WPressDoctor
      @WPressDoctor  7 месяцев назад

      Hi there! Thanks for the question. It’s pretty easy, those 4 commands are given when you have changed something on your site and it doesn’t show on the front end. Then the cache needed to be purged or cleaned. Preloading is needed sometimes when you change a piece of the CSS. So option 4 is best if you don’t know what to do…

    Hi Matt,
    That was a Great video.
    I have to ask,
    1. Do you feel like FlyingPress is Better than WPRocket?
    2. In terms of CDN, isn't it better to use CloudFlare?
    Love your channel.

    • @WPressDoctor
      @WPressDoctor  Год назад +3

      Hi James! Thanks for the questions, good ones. Personally; the pricing of FlyingPress is interesting, it’s lower than WPRocket. I still feel that Rocket is performing better on Divi sites, (slightly) but the mobile optimization is better with FlyingPress.
      I will be checking out their CDN, I’m really curious about it. I’ll be making a video about it soon! CloudFlare Free versus a paid CDN… I don’t know about that. FlyingCDN should be better because it’s paid, but who knows. I’ll check it out in the video!
      What are your thoughts about it?

    • @jamessmith-qy7fk
      @jamessmith-qy7fk Год назад

      @@WPressDoctor In terms of pricing, there's a small difference.
      In terms of CDN, I personally think that CloudFlare is better.
      But I'd love to know what you think.
      It would be great to see full tutorials of CloudFlare & WPRocket for the best Setup & Setting by you for a Divi website.
      Love your videos and channel Bro!

    Nice plugin but this is basically like Perfmatters but without the script manager. Still, for nice and easy you got some good results... thanks for the tutorial.

      Hi there! Thanks for your question. That’s frustrating, but you could try to switch to another plugin that works better. I always use WP Rocket - wp.discount for a discount 👍🏻

    I have full experience with WP rocket and flyingpress. And any day I can say WP rocket is best. Because of compatible with so many WordPress themes and plugins.

      Hi Leo! Thanks for the question. I do recommend WP Rocket as it has never failed me on all my Divi websites. However, every setup is different because of hosting and combination with theme, so you might want to use another one... Have a great day and take care 😃

    Hello, thank you for your video - unfortunately, my main page menu does not work in mobile and desktop mode, but in the rest of the pages it is loaded as a float and it is correct - in your opinion, where does the problem come from and how can I fix it?
    .
    2- Do I have to disable the Rocket plugin?

    • @WPressDoctor
      @WPressDoctor  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi there and thanks for the questions. If you are using WP Rocket - Don’t use another plugin like this. Just only use WP Rocket / it’s the best one. If you are unhappy with WP Rocket results, you need to find another hosting company 👍🏻😀

    How much does this plugin affect the performance of adsense ads? any info...?

    • @WPressDoctor
      @WPressDoctor  5 месяцев назад

      Hi there! Thanks for the question. Well you should let the plugin do not cache the Adsense JS files, that’s always best practice 👍🏻😀

    Thank you for this tutorial. Can you create one for WP Rocket with its latest settings and features? I think that is the king of cache plugins, although I wish they had an additional tier between 3 sites and unlimited sites...pretty big gap there.

    Hi Matt, can you please test: BitFire Security - RASP Firewall.
    BitFire:
    Performance: adds 1% to page creation time
    Memory: adds 0.01% to memory usage
    WordFence:
    Performance: adds 44% to page creation time
    Memory: adds 125% to memory usage

      Hi Lee! Thanks for sharing. Those are some interesting numbers! Did you test it out yourself?

      @@WPressDoctor I tried WordFence, CyberPanel's Mod-security WAF --- they were causing website to load slower. I also tried 7G Firewall WAF -- it doesn't block majority of the attacks, but to just cut-down some noise.
      On the other-hand when using BitFire you won't even feel like its even there though each visit loads through BitFire's WAF -- i am tracking load speed every minute from 10 locations across the world for the past 4 weeks and there was no problem! Even their malware scan is super fast - does the scan in under 60 seconds for site with 6000+ files. They have pro version, it is so advanced and yet simple to setup --- it won't even let any visitor attack a site ever!
      RASP Live Security Demo
      ruclips.net/video/kX1Z9qHrS6Y/видео.html
      And I also read in one of their RUclips comments - “Our BitFire commercial offering is currently in private beta with a large 1 billion / year service provider and runs $200 annually / server with a full cash back refund in the event of a system compromise.”
      BitFire Security - RASP Firewall & Malware Cleaner
      wordpress.org/plugins/bitfire/
      This WordPress plugin is new and it works on the reverse of how other security plugins work, and it is super fast and most safest and they even give a 100% guarantee in case of a hack! Their technology is called RASP, 1st of its kind. The free version is much more powerful than WordFence. The Pro version has - Patented File-Locking, Account Takeover protection, Off-Site Redirect protection - it is an Enterprise grade quality product that can be used on any PHP website and not just on WordPress.
      Other features:
      Malware Scanning - find all redirects and dynamic code executions - 10,000 files per minute, low memory use, 2.5 million malware domains, Block Fake / Attack Bots, Blocks “all” known Cross Site Scripting attacks, Blocks all SQL injections attacks, Blocks all PHP object injections, BitFire allows only known good traffic and does not use black lists, Lock all of your PHP files from hackers and malware, Lock your database credentials from hackers and malware, Prevent Server Side Request Forgery and TOUTOC vulnerabilities, Build Automated Content Security Policies to protect client browsers….. tracks each bot visits and even verify them!
      Only thing is -- hardly anyone knows about this incredible plugin -- just 70 installs.
      I think they are just fine especially when their product is working. Thanks for your input. Can’t wait to see you try. God bless.

    I hoped you would demo how to preload fonts at 06:51, this isn't at all clear how to do nor is it well explained with FlyingPress itself.

    • @WPressDoctor
      @WPressDoctor  6 месяцев назад

      Hi there! Thanks for the suggestion. That’s a great idea. However most websites never use fonts that are custom… most use Google so that’s why I don’t cover it. But it seems to be pretty straightforward, just add in the exact URL of the font right?
