IMHO It looked much better as a Jeep style and it was called a Panther - You can "Google It". It had NUMEROUS problems - I know someone who has one that he did NUMEROUS modifications on - and the company instituted a few of them before they closed the doors and TRIED to sell the company with remaining stock but I don't know if they ever did. Now they came up with this. I agree it is not pretty at all. I have a nice Amphicar and it goes MUCH faster on the road BUT slower in the water BUT it is BOTH a TOY and INVESTMENT because it continues to INCREASE in value because it is the ONLY MASS PRODUCED AMPHIBIOUS vehicle made for the GENERAL public. Spend and invest your money in an Amphicar vs this KIT - IMHO. 😉BTW, the Amphicar came with an original 1147 CC Triumph Engine and some people put in a 1300 - 1500 CC Triumph engine for more power on the road but I kept mine in numbers matching original form to increase the investment 😊Also, a person - "Dave the Wave" - did covert an Amphicar to ELECTRIC and sold it to a person who then sold it on Barrett- Jackson Auction (BJA) for $150,000. Last year a "trailer queen" Amphicar sold on BJA for $140,000
It's an ugly car/boat. For 100K, no thanks. The thing looks like a kid's school project. A Vietnamese RUclipsr uses junk parts from a junk yard to make his and they look and runs much better than these ugly things. Much cheaper too.
Not everybody going electric
touch grass
It’s a miracle! Finally! Again! Haven’t we had this for 200 years?
Saw something similar at the start of "Saving Private Ryan." And the Landing Crafts were not registered in Arizona.
Registered in ARIZONA- good luck getting a great idea like this registered in California for street legal use!
I'm guessing the 2008 model didn't go so well?
