Fun fact about Ruxa, you don't need to declare how you're assigning combat damage until after your opponents have declared blockers. If an opponent decides to kill your attacker by chump blocking it with multiple creatures, you can return the favor by deciding to assign damage to their blockers like normal. It is a pretty powerful effect that can keep people from freely killing your tokens like they did this game.
Yes to this, loving the content. I think Olivia’s deck Intro may be switched with a future video? It was a Liliana deck, then in the gameplay it became her shrines list. Wasn’t sure if y’all were aware so I thought I’d say something 😅

I think it’s for next week as she was play testing it on Tuesday on her stream… also count that she is a different area then her usual webcam set up. Also sounds like from previous episodes they play 2 games per week on Monday to upload it on Thursday

Did Alias have two Windswept Heaths in the deck? At 9:20, she reveals one from the Abundance trigger and places it on the bottom. And then at 15:15, she plays a different bordered Windswept Heath for land on her turn.

@@MrRandsauce not surprised, attacked for one at the start of the game and Kenobi just lost any sense of threat assessment basically giving the game away. Not sure it was salt, more just surprised at the level of response

GG! Ruxa was actually very impressive! I wasn't sure what to expect as so used to not going for vanilla creatures in magic but then you have to remind yourself that so many tokens can be vanilla and making them do damage like that is so powerful. Very cool. Kenobi was far from pleasant this episode lol Kinda went ham on CGB when it wasn't the correct play and basically threw the game in the process lol I guess its more important to be savage then try and win? Choices :p

Yeah this was definitely a good one!
I had a Ruxa deck (it's now Jasmine from Dominaria United), anyways, Ruxa doesn't make the creatures unblockable, he just allows you to assign the combat damage as though it weren't blocked. So the creature attacking can still die from a larger blocking creature, but it's damage an go through to the player.
I do like when people fake beef in games, it's actually rather entertaining. Good game!

this is a year late, but eilidh has two windswept heath’s in her deck lol. you see the first three first time she reveals with the enchantment and then again on her next turn.
Not sure if this was already mentioned, but with Ruxa you don't have to declare where the damage will go until damage step. Your opponents don't know how you will assign the damage until after blocks are declared.

He needed the mana for up mauling on Ali's commander as she was in good position to win. Hard choice for him but I understand, it's the garantee of having a spot removal in hand VS the chances of getting one from someone else's deck.
At the end it wasn't enough, but now we know that if PK saw this line he would've won with thanks to CGB's mauling.

I agree with Vince's course of action here. CGB diplo'd really poorly and was very suspicious. In black there are a lot of ways to tutor up at instant speed a two card combo and win with 7 or 8 mana available. And I'd rather lose to someone playing fair mono-green than tutored instant combos. CGB was a little salty and hostile but he put himself in that positions for no reason. Good on Vince for staying cool and holding firm to his decisions.
