I am not dead
I didn't mean to take such a long break. A lot of things came up in my life and it had me reconsidering my relationship with art, and in turn I didn't draw much at all. Recently I've been trying to get back into the groove of things and re-teach myself how I used to do things, and just, trying to learn how to love drawing again. I decided to take some art trades with a couple of my friends because it's been a long while since I've done an art trade, and the concept makes me feel nostalgic.
This was the first time in a very long time that I was excited to draw. I found myself thinking about what to add next while I was at work, and trying to rush home as soon as I could so I could work on it. It was very odd haha

Hey man, I'm happy you took the break, losing motivation is such a soul drainer when it comes to hobbies. It's why I lost the motivation to upload for over 6 years now, so seeing someone slowly go back into things is heartwarming and motivating. We welcome you back and are happy you're okay again.
Missed your posts for so long. But you wanted to take a break and I respect it. Im glad your ok though was worried about you! But this is just absolutely amazing the lighting background the shading my goodness you showed it off so good!!!! I love the mood and the tone it sets up on!

Edit: okay, I made this comment before finishing the video. I just wanted to say that nearly everything about your art has improved drastically! I've been watching your videos since I was a lil 12 year old in 2016, and this has to be the best picture I've seen from you yet.
Idk if it's only for artists, but everytime an artist I follow takes a hiatus (or even when I take one) The art just gets so much better. I think it may be your creative juices recharging??? No clue, but I love this picture so much and I really mean that. ^^

HOLY SHOOT its so good! The background is just amazing, and I love how vibrant it is! The shading/lighting is on a whole other level especially the glow effect. Something about the red makes the scene more mysterious >v
in all honesty I only found your channel a couple of weeks ago, but you're such a talented artist! You completely deserved a break to figure things out in terms of art and life and I'm glad you're starting to feel excited about art!

Like I said, I clicked on the notification immediately when I saw it. I saw others saying the queen is back and I honestly agree with them 💖 I missed you vidoes a lot and seeing something new from you on insta already made me so happy that I needed to share it with the world (sad insta didn't want to share it at first like i said 👁👁💔 but good that in the end it worked! XD)
You know, let me tell you, recently I rewatched an old speedpaint from you I remember watching years ago. I checked it now, it was [AT].: Nori. And I remember how I was also staring at the screen back then trying to figure it out how can you shade SO WELL. Also that Bat Pone speedpaint...it inspired me to draw my very first pfp on dA, my main OC in a similar pose behind the screen...And now I came on this premiere to watch this video and I can see how f--ing much you improved. It just make me happy to watch how one of my fave mlp artists has been improving for all those years 💙

in the time ive been away, i can count on one hand how many drawings ive done. there were attempts here and there, but really just couldn't get myself to do it. So! i dont think you can say i spent the time improving lol. i mostly just worked and played videogames on my days off :)
@@HoneyBee-vn1yw I see, artists mostly can't get into mojo! 😅 I've been drawing whole time and everytime I stopped, my one only grew stronger that way my head is messy with ideas! 😆 All I need is only control myself. Last time I decided to take 3 HUGE projects on my back. Mangas, animated series (using Blender) and digital sculpting Vtuber models and characters that are needed for multiplayer online games. So, since I want to work hard just for YT, do you have a request?
