Just like to say that this fixed my swirl flap issue on my Audi A5 3.0 TDI (CAPA), 2007, thank you very much guys. After discovering the tight tolerance of the range it registers within (.500mv and above), I reseated the replacement part which also didnt work in the beginning, cleared the fault codes using an amazon black ELM adaptor + free car scanner APP and then it suddenly worked! It went up and back down upon turning the ignition on and responded to my revs once the engine started. I would like to add that if you just fit the replacement swirl flap actuator electronically and not physically (electrical connector only, not screwed in and not connected to swirl flap arm and intake), it will not work properly, which was what ended up making me lose my mind for days. When the actuator is actually fitted, the motor itself has to be turned slightly so that it comes away from its own resting position so that it fits onto the arm itself at both ends. Remember as the video says, clear those fault codes, as it wont bother to check the actuator's ability and range, and it will not move.
Hi There, very informative video, My sensor motor has been replaced with a manufacture date of 2021 Continental brand made in Germany, will the bracket work on a replacement sensor or do you need the original VDO VWAG sensor??, The p2015 code only appears once a month and puts car into Limp mode,
Excellent video, just what I’ve been looking for. I have an error p2015 and when I install a cheap eBay bracket I get an error p2004! I’ve read that you have to use the diesel geek bracket because of the tolerances but the voltage with this bracket is just above 0.5v on pin 2. I’m wondering if I have a bad ground wire or the ecu is not switching the motor pin 4 to ground? Any ideas as this fault is driving me crazy! Can’t see how the wire could get damaged but then again I don’t know who’s been working on this car.
Hello...very good tube....but for me everything working well the flaps and the v157 do the job perfectley in the both position start on or off .. But...still have the check engine light on ...i delete it with Delphi OBD2 many Times ...but back again After 2km. My car IS Passat cc 2008 ...tdi Please help Regards
I have a 2010 tiguan engine code CBBB and there is a black plastic peice on my engine where you have the bolt to put the geek bracket on. Or am i looking at the wrong part?
I have the same as this comment tiguan cbbb, its black plastic manifold... I have tried to fit the bracket but it was the longer type which I belive is for aluminium manifold, i did managed to fit the connecting piece to the other side but its still getting fault code
You'll need to fit the correct bracket for the correct manifold otherwise the dieselgeek fix won't work. I have installed 3 now on both plastic and aluminium inlet variants and both have had no issue afterwards.

Glad it helped. Thanks for your feedback.
