we actually went there. Was completley empty. Went in early January at noon and we were the only ones there, it was quite good though.
Maybe cause of the pandemic but it is definitely on my bucket list, hopefully I don’t have to wait all day for it lol.
@Izuku Midoriya neither do I, but I think we went because of a concert that was happening at night. It was on January though so the pandemic hadn’t really started getting big yet.
@Izuku Midoriya Yeah it was fun, I haven’t really done anything outside of a couple states near me, like I went to this cabin thingy in the middle of the woods during the summer with some of my family and we stayed there for a couple days, and I think we did a similar thing a couple months later during school. We went to the beach a lot during the pandemic
the video is from 2017, 4 years prior your comment, so it's common to the shop has no more the attention that it had when it was opened. Also, the pandemic might have something to do with it, NY was one of the most affected places of the USA covid in the prior year.

I’m shocked at the amount of people that say they’ve never eaten cookie dough before. I always leave some in the bowl so that everyone can have a bite. I used to make a small batch of dough just to eat. 🤷♀️

I've tried this before and its overwhelming sweet and filling. Cookies are best baked.
I tried this in my vacation to NYC, really tastes like those cookie dough pieces you get in ice cream. 10/10 would reccomend. Surprisingly, there weren't much people there when I visited, and it was around the afternoon, but idk.

Normal cookie dough is usually safe to eat a little bit of, but if you’re eating it in large amounts like in the video, it has to be with pasteurized eggs and treated flour. The same goes for the cookie dough that comes in ice cream.

My older brother had to get into shape before joining the Marine Corp, He worked out 5 days a week and had a strict diet. So on his free days, he would buy the biggest packs of cookie dough and eat the whole things in one sitting. He never got sick.
Les Salazar Eating regular cookie dough is usually fine but if it’s with regular eggs and flour there runs a small risk of food borne illness. I should’ve made it clear that the risk is small and that it’s only the Food and Drug Administration law for commercial food vendors. It sounds like disease simply did not occur in the dough he bought. My bad dude and tell your brother I thank him for his service

Warning. Everyone who wants to try this, go to the actual shop, resist going to their pop-ups! In January of 2020 we ate this at Bryant Park where the pop-up was located, we suffered 4 hours in the bathroom puking. I wanted to give them another shot so I went to the actual shop and suffered no ill effects.

Eggs are already pasteurized, the most important, is the flour which contains bacteria. That's why it is important to bake the flour before consunming it raw.

I've been eating raw cookie dough my entire life and I have NEVER ONCE gotten remotely sick from it. So I will continue to make and eat raw cookie dough myself, thank you.
It really depends if you're using pasterized eggs or treated flower, if you don't then you still have a risk of getting Sick from the Bacteria in the Flour or getting Solmonella from the eggs. I personally have had Solmonella before and it sucks ass lol. (Also there is a Recipe to make Edible Cookie Dough all you need is a regular cookie recipe Remove Eggs, Bake flour for a short time then just add that to the rest of the ingredients and stir and you're done)

I was supposed to go to NYC at Christmas (2020) and was going to go and get cookie dough from this place but couldn’t go because of corona virus. Hopefully be able to go this year.
All they do is bake the flour by itself, then use that flour, and make the cookie dough normal, but since the flour was already baked, the bacteria was killed, there is no "secret recipe"
