I played this game when it came out, loved it, thought the story was still very good but very sad. Im not sure why but at the end when I learned what needed to be done I became angry at the little orange ball of light, I hated it in that moment for I grew to love the mute fighter ( played the first game too, loved it ) and the notion of losing Ori was not something I fancied. I knew it was childish to cling to this character for more than ine reason, but I suppose thats the mark of a good story ( not to mention the fact that Naru and Ori couldn't hug or cuddle like at the end of the last game with the after credits pic) but in addition ori did not die as I thought, or in the strength of my emotions I forgot the much nobler reasons for the sacrifice.... It was nice seeing the ending though, the promise of new life in Niwen and a new spirit whos hopefully as robust and agile as their mother/ parent tree ( and the end credit picture.... By that point I was akmost weeoing audibly ) Edit : side note, kwolok was my favorite character, and the more "twisty" encounter with him was fun too, loved using the combo of eater dash and spear

I honestly am sad when Ori loses someone who is considered family and at the end it really makes me always touched and wants to cry
