the wrap on most delivery trucks etc with logos lasts 25-30 years and still look new. Marine environment might be harsher to metals, but IDK if its harsher in the ways that damage vinyl (ie ozone exposure and UV damage).
I put a little bit of garlic on my baked potato, then bed it with 5200 and I'm good to go! I walk to my mailbox, open it up, pull out the mail and bed it with 5200 and I'm good to go! I put both of my shoes on, bed them with 5200 and I'm good to go!
'Not one bit surprised by many posts below that express their dislike of the painted color of of the Dorado 23 - especially the painted motor. Gentlemen, do a utube search for haulover inlet (zipzap) and watch a few of them. You'll notice that painted T-tops etc, motors, even hulls (unconventional colors) - is getting very popular. My guess is that you will - with time - see this spread throughout the country. The days of chrome or anodized T-tops, white hulls and leaving motors their original color, are probably over. This is part of the individualization of one's boat. Personally, I like it. Change is guaranteed to happen. Most of us have a hard time with change and not all of it meets our "likes" - at least at first - so the tendency is to complain. The current black rims on cars and light trucks - that's one of mine. Oh, and blue tipped hair on females. Oh, and man-hair-buns. SoFla and SoCal is where fashion creativity begins (I guess you could include NYC in there too - just not as much) and then it spreads eventually across the country. If you have ever owned a boat, I'll bet you have one time or the other, thought about customizing it to 'how I would like it'.
