Hello brother, I need to cut .07" thickness steel plate, I believe I need the fine cut nozzle what is the amp and feed speed for this I gave a 45XP, best regards
Just got a machine torch today for mine (Will be waiting on Plazma Table 4 weeks) I have no idea what consumables I need. The kit I see listed is nearly $200. Not sure I need it, I just have the ones that came with the 45XP so far.
Larry Robinson I want a table myself. Did you get the machine torch or hand? I personally like the fine cut for anything less than 1/4” or less, the marking tips are cool you can outline your cuts if you want I’d get those last tho. The gouging is awesome. If I did it all over I’d get normal drag cut, fine cut, gouge and flush cut. Check out the flush cut it’s really awesome especially if you will be doing fabrication. Congrats on your machine you’ll love it. Get the cover if you don’t have it already as plasma are always near dust
It came with the hand torch, I ordered and received a machine torch this week. I've had my 45XP about a year but have only used it a couple times I guess. Been too busy with other mechanic work. I've been setting up a hobby machine shop the last couple of years. Watch some of my terrible videos if you are interested, I will be doing some on the Plazma table when I get it I"m sure. It's exactly like Gary Ramsey's (Ramsey Customs)
tuck1963 thank you, I know you’re right. I had to bring a list off of Hypertherm website and bring it to my LWS. I have every consumable now and too be honest some of them were really expensive but I wanted to make sure I had them. I bought the big kit of regular ones too. I wish they weee sold in kits like the big one or with it.
Jason I couldn't agree more! I have the mech. kit and hand kit and a mess of fine cut nozzles and deflectors. At mininum a fine cut kit would be great.
Kenny Fowler excacly and I use fine cut probably more so than any other. I use gouge for plow repair. I’m not sure why they sell the large kit for $150 or whatever it is with all regular cut they could of done an assorted. I want to get the flush cut system have you seen that? Crazy expensive though but works unbelievable. I appreciate you watching as I try to get this channel off the ground with good watchable stuff.
I believe there is another part available for the 45XP called hyaccess for extended reach cutting. i'm not saying you need this but just saying. It could come in handy for some situations but i'll bet its $$$$. Good vid's.
Mark Steven thanks Mark I did see those I don’t have a need for them but they are nice. What I really want to get and is next on my list and it’s called Flush Cut, it’s really expensive $160 bucks but will cut a T joint flat off. Thanks for watching

You’re very welcome I’m happy to help.

@@weldingjunkie Thank you junkie. You, in a single paragraph, explained this better than the video did.

You must have put that gouge and fine cut kits together yourself. Be nice if they sold those. Nice video. Thanks!
