    Such reassuring peace and tranquility in your videos Sandra with your lovely soothing voice. I realise that there is an awful lot of work behind these scenes for the maintenance and running of everything. What pleasure you must give to those elderly people whose lives have shrunk into a small world. Thank you.

      I feel very priviledged to be able to provide such a wonderful service to the elderly, very special moments.

    I’m smiling watching this, and was so lucky to be in it, scraping the stone shed wall with Sandra and stroking the wonderful Buttercup! He’s so soft. Thank you for all your hard work, Sandra! ❤

    Buttercup is so sweet. We used to have geese a number of years ago. I kinda want to get another pair of them just for the yard. Might consider it down the road!

      Do, they are such characters! And bring out the best or worst in people, they can work out people in a split second!

    I like the way you began and ended the video. It's so familiar, yet we're on the opposite side of the world, on the Pacific coast.
    Every day the crows (Northwestern crows) leave their rookery and disperse all around the Vancouver area. We have a local crow family that visits us every morning, and sometimes later in the day. We give them cat kibble, hidden in different ways to challenge them. We're still not smart enough to hide everything from our "corbie" friends. Even when we walk around the neighbourhood, we are watched and sometimes followed by these delightfully mischievous characters.

    • @WayOutWestx2
      @WayOutWestx2  Год назад +1

      It is just wonderful that these birds choose their flight path over our farm, but they are always on a mission, never time to stop!

    • @mungmungie
      @mungmungie Год назад +1

      Being Corvids, perhaps it's just as well that they don't stop. The mischief and mayhem they bring is entertaining, but could be difficult too! Our local Ravens are even worse, but you just have to laugh. One of them walked into our neighbour's kitchen and helped itself to a birthday cake. Just imagine what nonsense a Raven would get up to on your farm!@@WayOutWestx2

      Oh we had a magpie go into the kitchen in summer once where I had left a quiche to cool on the table overnight. He picked out all the bacon but left the rest.

    I live on Salisbury Plain next to a Army Camp. Every evenings the crows etc. come in to a pre roust. It's like a scene from the film The Birds. They then move to the trees in the camp because it is warmer.

      It is a wonderful spectacle! We follow them sometimes to their roost to watch them settle, with much murmurations and talking, it's a great display!

    What do you do with the guinea pigs and rabbits? Are they just pets or used for meat?

    • @WayOutWestx2
      @WayOutWestx2  Год назад

      They are pets. We tried meat rabbits years ago but they all caught infections from the wild rabbits here and didn;t make it far.
