I think the steam deck has easy replaceble sticks that are soldered on small pcbs connected with ribbon cables to the mainboard. So easy to replace if it breaks.
Personally, idk if I would get the steam deck for myself. The whole idea of being open to the majority of the game market is amazing however the lack of space is certainly going to become an issue. Especially with a price tag that can net you a pretty decent graphics card for a gaming pc. I may wait till the handheld is released and see official reviews for it to potentially change my thoughts. The way I see it is that this steam deck is another one of those handhelds previously mentioned except it has steam's branding slapped onto it.
switch SD cards? what you talking about? get a 512gb sd card or higher... and you set for a long time the largest games around are like 100gb, there are one exception or two sure. but it doesn't get much bigger than that

Hype!
ill trade my switch in without hesitation for one of these
It makes sense I mean, besides the Switch exclusives everything else is on Steam so go for it if you want!

I would get it, but I am way to poor to just throw out 1000 dollars for a gaming pc.
It's 399 I think
@@sbt4049 yea but that's only 64 gigs
@@nyx9379 buy a 2tb SD card prob
@@sbt4049 you right but I like to have space right out the bin just incase my sd card breaks for some reason
Highest one is $629 I guess. Way less than 1000
It's gonna flop for sure XD
