    Sir, what's the difference between spark and arc?.
    Is there any clarification of the name given as arcing horn because when lightning occurs spark will takes place why the name arcing?

    • @shyamrkumar170
      @shyamrkumar170 4 года назад +1

      spark due to lower voltages exists for smaller time.
      arc due to higher voltages exists for longer time

    Sir.....I have one doubt, by seeing how one can identify a transmission tower is 400kv line or 132kv transmission tower or 220kv transmission tower ?
    Is it possible or not ???

    • @shyamrkumar170
      @shyamrkumar170 4 года назад +1

      we can identify by seeing number of insulators attached to tower structure.
      formulae :rating/11=number of insulators (kv)

    • @Durga189
      @Durga189 4 года назад +1

      We can’t say exactly based on number of insulators . But if you see the number of insulators are less in 132 kv(8 to 9) . Dividing the voltage rating by 11 is not correct,but the number of discs are less than what we get when divided by 11

    • @shyamrkumar170
      @shyamrkumar170 4 года назад

      @@Durga189 yes we cant say exactly but we can approxmiate it correctly. like we have generally we rating of transmission line like 11,33,66,132,220,440 all are kv when we divide the above values by 11 we get difference of value of 3,4,5....from that we can easily get rating of transmission line by seeing the tower.
