It’s perfect as a nightstand charger since you have hours for it to charge. The biggest issue with a nightstand charger is thinking you have it on the wireless charger overnight or halfway through the night and waking up to an almost dead phone. Being able to place it anywhere eliminates that issue.
Wouldn't pay $300 for it when you could buy a basic charger for a tiny fraction of the price. Like a lot of 'branded' items, irrespective of the company, it's the name you're really paying for. From foodstuffs to electronics to vehicles and everything in between, I've often found their so-called non-branded equivalents to be either just as good and or, superior to the 'market leader'. It's not necessarily the case here, but an awful lot of stuff is exactly the same, branded or non-branded, and all that's changed is the external packaging. This is particularly true of electronics of all stripes.
Hi Erik, need your help. I can’t seem to find a console that I like aftermarket for a 2014. I love my car still, so worth finding something. If you have one I’d definitely be interesting in buying it from you. The BlackVue came I got from you still works beautifully. Thank you.
That's a really big phone that sticks way off the top of the charger. Which is a shortcoming of the charger, but I wonder if your phone would have charged faster if you had put it on horizontally rather than vertically to ensure the coil in the phone was completely inside the area of the charger. It seems a really common design flaw in wireless chargers that they try to make them too small and as a consequence it can be really difficult to match up a/the coil in the charger with the coil in the phone. They should be making the chargers bigger, with a dead area around the edges to give you the best chance of being able to match up the coils. Also, you didn't try charging multiple devices. I think that's because you don't have other devices that can show their power draw, but you should just use a Kill-O-Watt or similar meter at the outlet. That also could give you an indication of the (in)efficiency of wireless charging in general.
Is it possible that you had the magnetic stand upside down? I would think that the unfinished side would go toward the unit and the magnets are closer to that bottom, unfinished side of the stand. Just a thought! I like the device but will likely pass for $300 - at least until I have some unexpected money come in and want to treat myself!
I, like millions of people worldwide, watch unboxing videos from time to time. But if you think about it for a second, it's actually a rather bonkers thing to do. Go back as little as a couple of decades and the very idea of doing so would seem absolutely preposterous, not to mention laughable & would most likely be compared to watching paint dry. 🤣🤣🤣

Wasn't Apple trying to produce something similar and failed?

not worth 300, but it's nicely done, functional and great design.

Yup. He definitely was putting the magnetic stand on wrong. All the other videos I’ve seen do it the other way and it sticks just fine.
Cool tech, but not worth $300.
What charge rate when charging two phones or phone other products? Is the 1300 mA split between phones and each phone only receives 650 mA?
i just took the charging pad out of a M3 and hooked it up to a power source.
Big thumbs down for me. $300 for something that charges considerably slower then the Samsung one. This video convinced me not to even consider it..

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overpriced for what it is
hell no it isn't worth it....
Unless you can use it to also wirelessly charge your Tesla car in 4 hours ; it isn't worth it
