As a Quad Copter Pilot and Avid Golfer I think a 9 Iron wrapped around the Goose's neck would have been in order. I was golfing one day and recovering my ball and one tried to attack me. All I can say is a 5 Iron works well also. :^D Golfer 1 Goose 0 Zero!
usually these quadcopters and drones are attacked by animals due to the sound they make. they attract (usually little) kids and if flown near dogs they may attack it (possybly as if they were catching a Frisbee) so you need to know what to do in those ocations... i'd say that the throttle at maximum so it heads up and nothing catches it

They've got people on airports all over the globe who's responsibility it is to scare birds away from the runways. When the airplanes get up in to the air, they go far far above what any avian ever would.

Next time the kids go on an Easter egg hunt they better chase away the geese first and make sure they don't nest near the Easter eggs otherwise the kids will get attacked by the geese just because either the kids mistake the geese eggs for Easter eggs or the geese mistook the Easter eggs for goose eggs

Rule number 1 when operating a UAV is always evaluate where you are flying. I must say I disaprove of this kind of flying. The birds could have been injured, and still you flew close to them aparently totally aware of their presence. emeber that UAV`s are not a toy and it is a hot toic at the moment to regulate useage because of irresponsible behaviour such as this ( and much worse).

The Goose flew away normally and appeared un-injured. The phantom had minor damage.
