I remember 6 months ago when I got my e92 as a first car at 18 and it felt amazing but it is a 328i. now a 335 i understand this guy it's very exciting.

This is me exactly. I’ve had all kinds of cars: ‘89 Supra, ‘90 rx7, ‘82 Corvette, “02 Miata, ‘21 Mustang GT, three different early 2000 BMWs, and more. But several months ago I picked up a 2007 e93 335i and it’s just ridiculous. I sometimes just go out into the garage and look at it. It’s this same space gray color with red leather interior. It looks just crazy in person. It sounds great and drives awesome. Tasteful upgrades to follow….
That stick on carbon fiber is wack but it looks better than the wood grain in my opinion. I’d just have it wrapped like a machined aluminum or som if I was him. Very clean example he found.👌🏽🔥🔥🔥

My interior is Dakota gray.....but otherwise that's the my e93. I agree, space gray is the BEST e9x color! Tell him to go over all of the seals in the top with some Gummi Flege (sp?) and lubricate every single hinge once a year and he's golden!!

After owning an e93 for awhile I gotta say, some things about the drop top get annoying as hell, such as the rattling, but when you got your buddies in the car, on a beautiful day with the wind in your face and you gap some POS mustang, nothin beats the feeling. And the maybach windows are a plus.
Where was your top rattling from? I've had my 2009 e93 for a few years now and my top is solid AF. I go over the seals with conditioner and the hinges with lubricant yearly. The only rattle I've personally had was the storage container with the roll top in the back seat. Replaced it and my interior is dead silent!
@@ferrynpalmer3875 ya for me it’s definitely the windows against the seals, rubber isn’t in the best shape so probably just gotta get them replaced. But ya my back seat storage also rattles, what did you replace it with?
@@julianhansen858 ....I get you on the windows! Since day 1 I've been on top of the seals and mine are ALL sweet. I replaced that tray with a brand new one. I "think" that roll top just gets loose over time and starts to vibrate. I'd reach back there while driving and lightly press on the top of it and the rattle would stop. Replaced it and it went away. It's easy to replace.....looked impossible at a glance!
i got an '04 325ci convertible handed down from my granddad and man i love that thing, i know how frank feels. so fun to drive.

I personally have the same carbon trim part’s on my Manual 500whp e93. But only on the steering wheel, a/c spot, along the cup holders and that’s it. I got the best quality, best fitting ones you could buy. Is it actually that bad? Mine look and fit like OEM carbon almost. In my opinion. I respect both sides though. I have the brushed aluminum with the OEM black/red interior.
