Good call on the initial setup. I had the exact same issue, after doing an initial setup and connecting to my iPhone via HP Smart app, the printer just glowed green forever. I couldn't connect to it until I just unplugged the power chord and plugged it back in.
Hello. When I bought this printer I signed up for instant ink. After a year I realized I I was only printing a couple pages a month. I called to cancel and the person said if I canceled I would not be able to use my printer. That made me mad and I did not see how it was possible. But here I am I need to print 1 page and my printer is just flashing and will. Not work. The ink cartridges in it is Almost full and I have a extra cartridge in cabinet. What do I need to do to get my printer working?
Tango printers are garbage. Internet Obligations wifi connection. It's not really wifi connection. There's other printers that you can connect wifi direct without internet.

I got my TangoX in 2018. I still have and I still use it. I love that any pictures I print from the HP phone app does not count against your Instant Ink plan. (At least in USA)

I ended up having to use WiFi direct and that works fine but I’d rather connect to the WiFi.
I cant seem to find an hp printer that can do borderless printing, but this one seems to be able to do just that. However I require a hidden paper feeder oh and a scanner.

Decided not to go with an all-in-one this time because of the size, combined with my dwindling needs as I get older. I got a little Brother cordless, wireless pass thru scanner that hides away when not needed. I saw this printer at our local Best Buy and think I’ll get it.
I love how all reviews for this people doing the reviews are just comparing the high priced OEM cartridges to make it sound like you are saving a lot of money when infact its cheap to buy good compatible cartridges I only pay £2.99 for a full set of inks which last ages and I also print more photos and pictures than just text also to note HP sell cheap as hell printers where you can still use the instant ink subscription for instance they sell a £30 scanner/printer where you can use these

Wonderful review, as always. Not a fan of HP. I realize their self reordering of ink and recycling are nice features. I like to have each color separated, so you're not wasting ink, which saves me money. I think the lack of a scanner and copier is not acceptable. I can print from anywhere and use the printer as a copier and copy from a feed tray. Also, I can use multiple paper types, including photo sized paper, or load a different paper from a third tray. I like that versatility. I order one about once it twice a year and the color tanks keep the price reasonable. Enjoyed your review though 😃

Does this take 300gsm card stock? Which is thicker than 300gsm photo paper and normal paper. Thanks

its a shame the DPI is a lot lower than normal and cheaper printers means less detailed photos overall
