honestly, i thought this episode going to be lame and stuff bcs i have to watch it for my individual assignment but suprissssseee here i am sobbing and crying because Toby is a generous boss. I'm glad he was helping everyone with their problem. especially the homelesss guy. im cryinggg
As CEO or business owner see how is the business operate. Keep in touch with the process and to the great team of the employees. Connect the dots between corporate and its employee is PRICELESS. You can see the employee talent, and listen to their advice.
"You look like you're from the 90's!" Wow, I remember when I was a kid in the 90's, and everyone would describe something or someone from the 70's or 80's. God damn.
8:20 here in norway, when i enter shops like those.. session, etc those shops.. i always get 'hey whatsup?' or something like that, thats much more friendly than 'hey'.. love the vibe in those shops. o'niell has that vibe and yeah, should be like what that kid said, not what the ceo said
I really liked this show and how professional the CEO was with the workers. It's good that Jesus got help but it will be important to have more mentoring. The fact that he goes to work every day says a lot!
When the first question a customer asks is "what kind of special's do you have for us today" you know they are not there to purchase, they have no money.
Great episode. Very generous CEO. Wishin the best for The company. Unlike other episodes shit CEO' s give only about 5k considerin they earn a billion bucks a year.
i had not seen this episode, but i must say this is the most generous CEO i have seen. Whether the show was staged or not, fact remains i wish i was one of those employees!!! Lol.....i'd be more than happy to share my story with a stranger.
Good episode, nice CEO. I've seen a ton of these episodes and have noticed that consistently, the male employees are rewarded with about $15,000.00 to $25,000.00 more than the female employees. Same stuff, different day.
WOW that first guy is making me wince. >.< Can't say I'm 100% invested in the stuff my workplace sells either (though it's still quite good), but I'd keep any negative opinions off the shopfloor! >.
yes. when you are the boss and the moral falls, go down with the workforce, be one of them briefly, find the ones in need, throw a couple of grand to them and BAM! get it on tv. the consumers like you, your employees like you and you get your business up with only a few thousand dollars while making multiple from the show!!! pure genious.
The guy Jesus asked him if he ever thought about starting his own weed business. It reminded me of how in the show Breaking Bad, Walter starts producing and selling crystal meth. Not to mention how similar Walter and this undercover CEO look
+dannyphehe Law of numbers says someone really has to be that stupid and will be. Also kids like that will try and look cool no matter what. You saw in the way he talked about those clothes.
For real , these employees know they are being filmed but still slag off their employers , talk shit about slacking and taking the piss on the job, even if the dude wasn't an undercover boss people are still gonna see this shit, i think a great deal of these shows are staged cause also the amount of employees that tell some sob story to a complete stranger.
And it gets worse because now the show is all about how five lucky employees get lots of free stuff - not about how the head boss might get his hands dirty or fix base working conditions. It proves that it's not what you know, but who you know, that will get you ahead in life.
well, in my life, it is not that weird. I open up easily and the people around me do as well. I guess everyone is just different but every single person on these shows, opens up lol.
Yeah, nearly every episode there is people with a sob story that they tell somebody they have only just met. If you watch the British version of this show it's very rare people open up like that.
That's true, but I've also noticed that female employees usually get higher up positions. Personally, I'd prefer a promotion to some free cash. A promotion gets you way more in the long run.
There needs to be an April fools version So you married, yes You got kids yes, Do you see your kids a lot? Yes work part time Do you ever go on holiday? Yes, often 3 holidays last year Where do you live? Most of the time inthe penthouse but sometimes in the country pad What can we do different? I think you pay us too much...
C'mon O'neill, this is the culture you profit on. A culture YOU helped to nurture and glorify. Don't get in a twist when your employees act like this, reap what you sow.
Horrified at talk of weed, horrified at skateboard leaning against a mannequin... cool surfer brand? Maybe this guy isn't the right fit for this company lol.
this is what happen when you just hired a person and put him directly in front line ... supervisor or manager should know that you should train them have a proper orientation knows the guideline etc. .. even the the people you hired has a experience in selling and marketing still you should train them again coz every company has its own policies
I experienced pure joy watching Desireé’s expression when she received the bonus. Great capture of what people can do for each other
This video make me cry ... it's really appreciated CEO
I love how everyone happens to spew a sob story to a perfect stranger within one work day.
You don't have convos that put strangers you meet for the first time to tears with your life stories? Missing out dude
It's definitely not staged.
Everyone tells strangers their deepest struggles and frustration on the first day, within hours.
Nope. Just no.:P

Michael is so cool. He's a very nice guy. I'm happy for him.
"You look like you're from the 90's!"
Wow, I remember when I was a kid in the 90's, and everyone would describe something or someone from the 70's or 80's. God damn.

Very generous, amazing boss.

I didn’t know Ned Flanders was in this episode
8:20 here in norway, when i enter shops like those.. session, etc those shops.. i always get 'hey whatsup?' or something like that, thats much more friendly than 'hey'.. love the vibe in those shops. o'niell has that vibe and yeah, should be like what that kid said, not what the ceo said
Bwwwwaaaaahahaha "he was so moved by the experience he has considered to stop smoking" lolololol
"Don't call me BUDDY, FRIEND!" hahahaha
Business and humanity - more please.
I used this episode for my students in my Communication Management class. There's a lot to learn.
I looooooooove screen printing. Did that in school last year and it was sooo fun :)
Just wanted to say that those bar code scanners can be programmed to add a carriage return after each scan, so it was not a problem with the software.
Jesus has being relaxed down to an art even the way he talks lol
By far the most generous CEO on the show.
No the tilted kilt CEO was more generous
Modell's Sporting Goods. The owner gave $250,000 to a homeless employee of his.
this should of been season 4 episode 20
Jesus sounds like a stoned John Malkovich but looks like a younger version of Jack Black. Good thing he was given another chance.
What a rad guy, I'd work for him any day
"What can I do for this guy? There's gota be something I can do for him." Errrrm gee I dunno give him a fucking pay rise? Come on genius.
how long can this thing go on b4 ppl start to realise they are being watched for undercover bosses.
He is a very kind boss
Great episode. Very generous CEO. Wishin the best for The company. Unlike other episodes shit CEO' s give only about 5k considerin they earn a billion bucks a year.

Tilted kilt CEO was pretty generous
Everyone should have a husband like Jorge.
1:21 that ad fooled me lmfao.
pot worker was funny as fuck
at the end they say, jesus was so moved by the experience that he has CONSIDERED to quit smoking...so he hasnt changed
Good episode, nice CEO.

Seriously, watching the customers shopping made me cringe...
"what. are. your. specials. today?"
Anybody else thinks he looks like chris hadfield with the mustache?
Am I fiiiirreeeddd broooo
stellar ceo, phenomenal ending
I wish i had a boss like him
WOW that first guy is making me wince. >.<
Can't say I'm 100% invested in the stuff my workplace sells either (though it's still quite good), but I'd keep any negative opinions off the shopfloor! >.
As a former screen printer, I twitched just a bit watching this D:
This is awesome! I'm choosing to believe that it wasn't faked. I wonder what the other episodes are like. Gonna check some more out.
**Potentially undercover boss, balls eyes out about 17 kids all with illnesses**
yes.
when you are the boss and the moral falls, go down with the workforce, be one of them briefly, find the ones in need, throw a couple of grand to them and BAM! get it on tv.
the consumers like you, your employees like you and you get your business up with only a few thousand dollars while making multiple from the show!!!
pure genious.
this boss know what he is doing
he's way too better than the other bosses
The Las Vegas employee seems like an actor
great and fair guy
The guy Jesus asked him if he ever thought about starting his own weed business. It reminded me of how in the show Breaking Bad, Walter starts producing and selling crystal meth. Not to mention how similar Walter and this undercover CEO look
Support o'neill ❤❤
Haha all the Aussies in the second surf shop.
Also, who offers weed to someone while they're filming a show, with cameras all over the place? He can't be that stupid, this has to be fake.
+dannyphehe Law of numbers says someone really has to be that stupid and will be. Also kids like that will try and look cool no matter what. You saw in the way he talked about those clothes.
Damn, I wish you weren't right.
Dam, that's why I love this show.wish my boss would do that to me xD well iWork in Markest Basket so never mind they're cheap. @Andover, MA

KevlarGorilla this is actually really true now that I think about it, but you have to admit it's addicting to watch.
Breaking Boards- the alternative version to Breaking Bad
well, in my life, it is not that weird. I open up easily and the people around me do as well. I guess everyone is just different but every single person on these shows, opens up lol.

Dude I'm not a surfer but guest what..?
I love O'Neill brand..
Just sad to see their are many fake o'neill products in many stores in Asia..
They definitely hired Steve Zahn to pretend to be the Boss!!! It's STEVE!!!
For sure.
That's true, but I've also noticed that female employees usually get higher up positions. Personally, I'd prefer a promotion to some free cash. A promotion gets you way more in the long run.

bit dissapointed that it wasnt O,Neal the motocross brand but it was still a good episode
C'mon O'neill, this is the culture you profit on. A culture YOU helped to nurture and glorify. Don't get in a twist when your employees act like this, reap what you sow.
cool story bro.
Cool stashe Walter
I’m undoubtedly convinced more so than ever that Jesus is not a real person
These companies have one thing in common
They are all crappy employers to begin and hardly any make real policy changes
roflllllllllllllllll that jeseus guy
At 42:17...."Considering" quitting smoking... yeah rite!!

He looks like the guy in the movie called national security what is his name ya Steve Zahn.
Horrified at talk of weed, horrified at skateboard leaning against a mannequin... cool surfer brand? Maybe this guy isn't the right fit for this company lol.

40% of their business is printing Tshirts? I find that funny because their Tshirts are 40 dollars.
and now pot and the marijuana are big time markets
Somehow I don't believe that fiancee half his age loves him for him,but what do I know I'm just a hater.
