I can’t understand when ppl with long hair go for haircuts and they ask from barber to cut them so little hair.

Because they still want long hair? I spent months to grow my hair, I'm not cutting it all unless I want a complete change in style.
And long hair still ask for maintenance, you got split ends, your hair flattening at the top, etc
Imma give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're not being an ass with the comment. It's about maintenance and grooming. Long hair gets longer sure, but it doesn't keep the same shape it did after a haircut, additionally you need to trim the dead ends so that the hair looks good. If you don't get a hair cut you will end up looking like a slop, doesn't matter if you have the best products every and live in the cleanest house and wash your hair regularly. Hope this helps!
