F-5C is just the F-5A but re designated for live testing and evaluating during Vietnam. It also lacks Mavericks that the F-5E has and the F-5E on 100% has more thrust than the F-5C on afterburner.
I find the best play style for these jets is a passive fighter. Pick off everything that's up close. It's great for "stealthy kills". Mainly just play the objectives like ground targets, mini bases, and maybe attackers, but you got enough to only eliminate 4 targets before you're bingo. The fuel efficiency helps you linger around and take your time finding your objectives, with even more time to fight and leave. I play this like a multirole, on the deck plane, and with it lacking it's IFF, and bvr capabilities, I just keep the radar off for stealth. At the end of the day, play it your way, I'm just spewing my experience.
Once again, Gaijin in their infinite wisdom, are pricing themselves into oblivion. It is bad enough that there are so many damn bugs and so damn expensive; to then get on a team who don't give a damn about winning, is enough to keep me from playing WT and more IL2 and DCS.
Once I got my PC that could run DCS a month ago. I’ve only gone back to WT once every 3 days just to keep my spot in the Squadron. I’ll only play Simulator and only one match. DCS is just soooo much better.
Man, i'm very into strategic bombers in simulator battles. i'm not the deadbeet kind that just kamikaze itself onto airfields. i get altitute, bomb and head back home. trouble is i can't get a positive earning in big multiplayer SB, so i usually try to fly alone or with just the minimum amount of friends in the game. still not enough to go positive. what should i do with my bombers to earn more?
Another great video! Lucky man as well. With HP Reverb G2 the textures are so weird, colourful and strange I just can’t play. Good to know Snailfest claims to have fixed the textures some patches ago.
9x will be a long time, R73 will dominate close range encounters for a while. Historically. Then when the X appears, so will the 73M2 to compete equally. Soviets had some insanely maneuverable missile, but nothing with the reliable range of NATO
9 kills and 120k SL is ridiculous... playing RB for SL sucks so bad but im still trying to get the American phantoms and 1 million SL kinda requires RB play to think about buying them
How do you not get blurry vison? I have the quest 2 and granted its 1080p but hella blurry. I cant even spot targets. Also zooming in gets me crossed eyed.
Regarding the silver lions at the end, I noticed that since you were doing test drives it did not seem to calculate the bonus from your premium account. It's likely that if you owned these vehicles it would have been more. I noticed this because when you were first discussing the F-5C it had a 338% SL award modified and I was like WTF. I had to open my own game to check what it should be which is 675% with a premium account which is still annoying since my P-51D-10 has a 975% SL modifier.
The F5C has a repair cost of 5,000 in RB. 10,000 in Sim. It's ludicrously low for a high tier vehicle. My favorite jet in the game, the F4D, has a Sim cost of TWENTY THREE fucking THOUSAND. 23,000 Silver Lions if you want to play the F4D. It's unfair and fucked up.

Just when you think you're ok in a 1v1 dogfight, somehow a random F5c will still showup and kill you from where ever while you're enjoying dodging the first 2 minutes of clusterfucking @ top tier RB

The AIM-9J slaves to the radar, so I usually put the radar in ACM mode and get a lock with both sensors.

Seems that oculus is holding up better with openxr. Windows mixed reality is a mess now unless they came out with an update that I don't know about

Maybe adjust super sampling? I've never really had an issue seeing stuff.

I never considered that the test drive could be affecting it, interesting! I'll keep an eye on that in the future.

the best plane is the the fastest doesnt carry the best or the most missiles isnt the most nimble plane of the game but this is the best :D
