      The good thing is that, the consequence of the this move will bring the war to and end. Putin has been acting saintly, but will hit hard if Ukraine hit sensitive sites in Russia. His retaliatory actions in Ukraine will force the world to negotiate for peace.

    From where they currently are, the Ukrainians can already cover the Kursk region with different missiles, rockets and drones. Since the use of ATACMs is restricted to the same region, I cannot see how much difference they will make. Ukraine hasn't a lot of them either, and its war head is relatively small. They certainly do not make a difference in the Donbas, where the Russians have been advancing for months. A lot of hype in the media.

    • @TheLAGopher
      @TheLAGopher Месяц назад +3

      Ukraine was given permission to hit targets threatening their forces in Kursk.That likely means Ukraine can drive ATACMS launchers into
      the occupied Kursk region and launch them deep into Russia to hit targets beyond the reach of existing drones,rockets and other missile
      systems.

    • @be3992
      @be3992 Месяц назад +2

      The thing that will change is supply lines. The missiles have caused Russia to already pull back aircraft and logistics further into Russia to prevent it being striked. Hence this will decrease the amount of supplies being supplied to Russian troops but the primary purpose is to slow them down and it would. They have to travel further to resupply. The idea of this is to actually try and give Ukraine more of a better position when it comes to peace negations as it's obvious that's how the war is going to end. It sort of makes sense, causes worry on russian people who are within that radius which will pressure Putin to make it easier to negotiate but again, also to slow the supply and morale of the Russian troops.

      A lot of people are under the illusion that America have the greatest of all warfare weapons and are the saviour of the world... along with their Nato friends!
      Russia is a country that has seen a LOT of casualties in their history, and have seen the West's tactics and dishonesty towards them , so I am sure over the passing years that they have been preparing for any future conflict.

      Ordinary members of the public do NOT deserve the consequences of their STUPID decisions , ESPECIALLY when Russia have repeatedly warned of the consequences.

    Point of order, the ATACMS missiles are not classed as long-range ballistic missiles. They are classed as short-range ballistic missiles as their range is 300km or less. Short-range ballistic missiles include missiles with a range up-to 1000km. Next are medium-range, 1000km to 3000km. Then intermediate-range, 3000km to 5500km. Long-range or intercontinental types have a range in excess of 5500km.
