    Wow! I always learn so much from your take on things. Aside from info on the eruption, the fact that Iceland actually uses the “naturally occurring” hot water for heating, etc. is something I never heard of. Thanks for the info. Take good care!

    I’m glad you explained that the volcanic activity is localized. I think many people think Iceland may be replete with volcano scares.

    The hot water heats the houses, How will all those people stay warm?

      Electric and gas heaters but they are asking people to limit their electric heaters to one per home so they don't overload the electric grid and of course asking people to use caution if they have gas heaters

    Is your hot water, power affected by the cut off from the Power Station?

      @@cloverfield911People have electric or gas heaters, but the electricity system is not quite up to everyone filling their houses with electric heaters so it is going to get cold for most though not freezing. The geothermal heating is good and dirt cheap so usually people have very warm houses even during the coldest weather but now they are going to have to do with English winter house temperatures for a couple of days.

      @@schoolingdiana9086 because the rate of lava eruption has decreased by 95% since the beginning and the lava flow has ceased moving Downstream
