Just for kicks from memory lane. I was 17 years old in 1975 and bought my first car, a 1969 Dodge Charger 383 Magnum 4 speed car with 56,000 miles for $1,200. I owned it for a couple of years and sold it for $1,000. I still have the handwritten bill of sale for $1,000 and the build sheet from under the back seat cushion.
You have to pay the price of admission. They sell for what the market will bear. This is a very rare car. No matter what is under the hood. Its still, a 68 charger. The LA series v8 engines from chrysler were workhorse engines. Its an investment machine. The value will appreciate if its cared for.
The 318 engines aren't world beater performers, but they are a great engine and the longest running production V8 engine in American automotive history. They have always sounded great with the right exhaust set up.
Beautiful car. B 5 blue 💙. Can you believe that they had a option for a slant six for this car from the factory. At least it is stock. Probably numbers matching. They don't make chargers like this anymore. So it is rare in it on respect 😊 Mopar magic 🎩.
Yes, that is a fair price. If it was "perfect" the minimum price would be 75k, even with a 318. Damn Nick, they sure came out of the woodworks with their opinions on this one.
Nick, I watch your videos all the time and am a big Charger fan. There are some that are going for 55k, but I don’t think this is one of em. That said, keep up the good work. I hope to get to your store in the future!
I'd put this Charger easily in the top 10 nicest cars Maple Motors has ever had. Really clean condition, nice color combo, and that exhaust sound is killer!!! 30K and it would already be sold......
These 318‘s can be very spicy and fast motors if built correctly. I have one in my 69‘ satellite by myself but I also keep in mind the charger is heavier than a Plymouth. Still crazy prices for 68-70 chargers and they just rise and rise

If that car is not all rusted out, and the body work is up to par, that is a very good price for a Charger with a fender tag. This one will likely be sold before the video. If any of you know anything about the current Mopar climate, you will see what a good deal this is. I am still a Chevelle guy, or I'd buy this in a hot second.
