Took some rock damage to the passenger side mirror signal lamp. This week we replace the signal lamp in a long arm mirror on a 2019 Ford Transit van. This DIY procedure will work on 2015-2019 as well as 2020 and beyond. I 'll show you how to look up exploded diagrams part numbers so that you order the correct replacement and the procedure recommended from the Ford Service manual.

Appreciate this upload. Able to gather what I needed prior. Purchased $14 Amazon RLB-Hilon seller cover. I used a wooden flat spatula to pry the bottom mirror off. Easy to follow process.

Oh and I didn't remove the heater wires. I laid the mirror in the mirror wing hole. Was concerned I F that part up

Some have 2 torque screws to remove the signal assembly. Sorry don't know what size that is but it's very small.

Just curious.. My van didn't come with these but there's a black filler piece. Do you think there's a wiring harness inside for it to just add a light?

I am trying to find the bulb sockets for these turn signal inserts, but can't find anywhere. Would you by any chance know where to find it? I took a snapshot of your bulb socket as it appeared in the video to help me find it.

@@MTBPlanB I think that's for a bigger light bulb, not the tiny T10 bulb that goes in the mirror turn signal lens. I found this item mentioned in Ford Transit USA Forum for people who want to do turn signal upgrade to their standard mirrors, in case anyone is interested. I will also put a link to the bulbs, again for upgraders or anyone who needs a bulb replacement. Thank you for your response.

These little signal bulbs are very expensive, something like $7-10 a piece. You can find it cheaper on eBay or a 10-pk for about $1 a piece. I don't think anyone would like to pay $70-100 for 10 small bulbs.
