Your videos come on my screen about 10.30pm Adelaide time, so I have a wonderful walk around Stockholm before I go to bed! Takes my mind off my broken ankle!
That was such a beautiful walk! I wish I could see it in person someday. But at least I can see it here. I'm from America and I watch every morning after I wake up and before the day begins. There is that inbetween time where I can sit and relax so I watch this channel.
My daughter’s classmates asked us after our ‘fika’ the other day if there’s a place I wanted to see, I said Sodermalm?😅 But I couldn’t tolerate the cold windy late afternoon and my corgi legs😄 no longer wants to walk but I told them on the top of Bibliotek in Odenplan, Daniel, the vlogger walked there and I want to see whats up there! But my husband said, you sure? 😅I am sure but my spirit is coming out of my body🙈😄. Thank you for sharing your walks, familiarize us with directions and places nice to have coffee. Its a very beautiful window that u open. I really appreciate it for someone with limitations like me with activities in this kind of extreme weather and long walks after my heart condition and surgery almost 2 yrs now. Thats why your 1 hour is quite a half day for me. I take time to cherish the places ,people and food.It will be amazing to know you make a lot of people happy in different situations.Power on!
We appreciate your daily walks so much, it's such a nice relaxing part of my day that I always look forward to. Extra special views of the city last night too, just magical! Thanks man👍!!
I like your videos so much!! After my work, i see them at nigth. Beside, i practice english. 2x1 !! Thank you and have a happy New Year. Regards from Chile South America 😁👋🏻
Imagine living in that house at 3:55 and waking up to that view. I love night walks but this was extra special. The view, the charming houses on the side of the path and the walk up there filled with anticipation. Thanks a lot!
Absolutely beautiful views! ❤️ We appreciate you doing these walks! Thank you for the shout out! We can tell you care about your channel and your loyal viewers. 😊
Thank you for uploading this walk around video. I always love Stockholm architecture around the city. Haven't had the chance to visit our yet, so watching this video allows me to enjoy the scenery of the city before I could make it there!
Een gedicht: De duisternis vindt een vriend in Daniël, wat vandaag moe is en morgen weer verschijnt. Alleen de nacht van Stockholm lijkt zo helder als nooit tevoren.
In Sweden 20th day of Christmas (13 January) is the "official" end of Christmas. Like you I am more in the 13th day of Christmas tradition, enough of this already. But Swedes hang on another week before they pack down everything.
dood i think they're just beling lazy this time lol i think it takes more time if you wrap the lights around the branches but if they just make it more simple like the "hand" it'll be easier. efficiency. it still looks nice in the night though.
Röde Orm is a viking adventure novel by Frans G. Bengtsson. Röde indeed means red. The -e instead of -a is the old masculine gender indicator, the titular Orm was a man.
Strictly speaking cobbles are the big round stones that you might find on a beach - terrible to walk on when used for paving! The square flat blocks are called setts but these days everyone calls both types cobbles.
Gatsten in Swedish, "street-stone". Sweden actually still have cobble stones in some really old streets, squares and castles, but it's usually seated deep in the soil, so not as bumpy as one would imagine.
Apartments in Södermalm are supposed to be the most coveted in Stockholm nowadays. Which language do you use in everyday life in Stockholm: Swedish or English (or Dutch maybe)?
Estonian and Finnish definitely have similarities as they belong to the same family of languages, the Ugric family. Though I don't know exactly to what extent it's possibly to have a conversation.
@@alfafalk Thank you. I know that Finnish and Hungarian are related, but their kinship is very distant, like French and Persian for example (both Indo-European). aaah ok , jag var lite osäkert haha. Tack.
Similarly the dead man is 'den döde', the old man is 'den gamle', instead of the expected 'döda' , 'gamla'. 👍
@@mellertid Det är så likt gammal Nederländska ...vi brukade använda "den" också för länge sedan.

Daniel, do you know whether Finnish and Estonian are mutually intelligible, like Swedish and Norwegian?
They are completely different
Estonian and Finnish definitely have similarities as they belong to the same family of languages, the Ugric family. Though I don't know exactly to what extent it's possibly to have a conversation.
