I think the bowl is for your tea bags like Sunny said. I’m sorry you’re feeling crappy. I’ve been watching you for maybe four years now and I’ve never commented on this before but it actually helps me quite a bit to see you cope with your condition and manage your life. I have a chronic illness too, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and seeing you say, nope, not doing the cookies today, helps me feel better when something on my to do list gets pushed to the next day. In real life I don’t know anyone else with a chronic condition, your videos make me feel less alone. Thank you Cindy.
The bowl is to put your tea bag on after it's seeped. Also good for your spoon for tea/coffee. Hope you feel better! I understand kidney failure did 5 years of it with my father and now going through it with my mother. ~ Hugs~ Btw I love Colorado! I'm in Utah and travel through Colorado often for work.
I had that advent last year it is lovely and yeah, the bowl is for your used tea bags, but I actually have it on my desk to hold little bits of crap like paperclips etc
I have tendonitis and I had to start sitting with my whole arms on the desk. I moved my monitor back and the keyboard and mouse far enough back that i reach them with my whole forearm other than my elbow on the desk. It has really saved me, I was getting so much pain and weakness before.
Hubby and I played Uncharted for a while. Please don’t apologize for the vlogs when you’re not feeling great. We love them. We come to here to see you in whatever shape you happen to be in that day. We know you aren’t feeling well. Wishing you better days ahead. ❤️
Hi! Greetings from Argentina! I've been watching and enjoying your videos for a while now. It was hard to find a content creator my age in this planner world, who also deals with chronic disease and who's also as big as nerd as I am. Thank you for sharing your day to day and for keeping it real. As for your question, I started playing World of Warcraft in Legion and I haven't been able to put it down ever since. It kept me sane during lockdown and I've met wonderful people from all over the world. I was skeptical about the new content, but I'm very much enjoying myself. There's so much positivity in the air and it's wonderful to see.
I've been playing Sky: Children of the Light for over a year now. It's a casual free-to-play multiplayer online game that takes you through an abstract journey representing stages of life. It emphasizes helping others and socializing with people across the globe. At one point, I was flying around with friends from Taiwan, India, Vietnam, and Mexico! It's also really good at giving you control over your level of interaction with others--every step up in interaction/friendship requires both parties to consent. It's a beautiful game with great music and heartwarming experiences.
The video game I played the most was Plants vs Zombies. About 12 years ago I had the sweetest third grade student. He liked to hang out with me after school while waiting for his mom. We would play 🪴🪴 vs 🧟♀🧟♂ together. He taught me how to play. His mom would come and bring his baby sister and we would all visit for a bit. Several years later, his sister was in my class, too. The sweetest family ever! ❤
That bowl is definitely for your tea bags. I love advent calendars! I play Final Fantasy 14, Skyrim, Witcher 3. Persona 5 and Animal Crossing on the switch. I played WoW some years ago.
I think the little dish is for tea bags and/or possible your tea spoon. Last December I got super into Animal Crossing. As a kid I loved Zelda (Ocarina of Time)!
yes, the bowl is where you can put your wet teabags and spoon! if you don't keep your trash near where you make your tea, it helps because you can just carry the used teabag in the bowl to the trash. if you don't need it for tea, you can of course use it to store other things.
Mario 3 was my all-time favorite followed closely by Tetris. I just got the Switch so I am enjoying playing Mario Kart for now and slowly exploring what other games I might enjoy.
Thanks for being real. It makes me remember that it's okay to not be okay. My arcade face is Simpsons Bowling, cuz I bowled a 300. My fave phone/console is Plants v. Zombies, because it was enough fun to keep me trying until I beat it.
My bonus daughter is the hot tea drinker and I think she would agree with Sunny - wet tea bag holder. Not much of a gamer so my favorites are Gameboy Tetris and Angry Birds.
I love seeing different Advent calendars. They always give me good ideas for next Christmas gifts. I feel so basic when it comes to video games 😂 Mario Kart is my jam on Nintendo Switch and Yoshi's Crafted World
Cindy i was watching a few of your old washi tape videos and I would love to see a new one! Organizing or just showing it but I could especially use some tips on finding good washi without breaking the bank, or washi on any budget. 💜💜💜💜
My video favorite franchises are Silent Hill and Fatal Frame. I also love Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. Although sometimes the constantly trying to make money to pay back the unending debt to a capitalistic raccoon aspect of Animal Crossing can be a bit depressing. I started The Sinking City a few months back, but it requires much more bandwidth than I have right now.
My favorite game right now is Valheim. It's a co-operative game for up to 10 people, and encourages co-operation. Very fun since you can work together rather than the PvP heavy games I've seen coming out.
When it comes to games, The Sims. I've played since the original sims game came out when I was like 10 or something. I can always go back to it. But over this past two years I've logged like 700 hours in Minecraft. It rapidly climbed the charts of games I love. I see Minecraft being a game that I will play for decades right next to the sims.
It's a tea bag holder :-). So if you and RJ are sitting at the table and you go to take the tea bag out of your cup, you have somewhere to put it then when you get up to clear the table it's easy to dispose of. Jealous of your wonderful tea bag advent calendar will have to look in to getting one of those next year
I loved playing Zelda Ocarina of Time back in the day. I also really got into FarmVille when it was a thing. Now I mostly play Nanogram or Sudoku on my tablet. 😂
Oooh, that's a tough question. I play a lot of indie games so there's not just one I stick to. Though, the Satisfactory update 7 is releasing next week and I'm pretty sure my partner and I will be jumping into that!
Love watching people's advent calendar opens since I couldn't decide on one this year for myself. Sorry you are feeling so crappy! I work in video games so mostly have to play my clients' stuff, but recently loved Wytchwood on Switch.
Tea drinker here, yes it's a wet teabag holder. I'm playing Thea Awakened (I think that's it) but it's super addictive for me and I need to find a way to limit my time. I also discovered Board Game Arena recently. It's a website that lets you play boardgames with people (friends or strangers) virtually! Is much more manageable.
My Husband and I just started playing the brand new Monkey Island, which is giving us those 90s retro vibes. We actually met in an MMO (Everquest 2) and I moved to Germany to be with him just over a decade ago!! They celebrate Christmas on 24th here, so no stockings, but we have made each other Advent Calendars to open each day, but we also have an escape room advent calendar, so much fun!
I just want to say I’m so grateful for you and committing to vlog even feeling awful. Please remember your health is the most important thing… always!!! (This is also me writing it so I can remind myself of it)
I met my fiancé playing Final Fantasy 14! We still play occasionally but we also have an 8 month old so it's not the easiest thing to do right now 😂 Love you and your videos! So sorry you're feeling crappy. Wish I knew what to say to make you feel better but I know it's not that easy. Can't wait for your next video!
Agree. I've not played much int thr last 2 expansion but this one is awesome. Have you been flying around yet? Takes my breath away when you nose dive off a cliff lol .
That’s a tea bag rest. I like the depth of that one. I’m more a puzzle game person. I was a Tetris master on my Gameboy. I only played solo when played Soul Caliber on the Sega Genesis. 😂
We've got a tea advent calendar but we started it early so we finish before traveling for Christmas break. We had Whittard last year but it's so pricey, found something for half the price but it's good quality tea, I'd say even better than Whittard.
For the HORDE, always and forever no matter what. Haven't played in awhile :( maybe one day. I tend to watch certain playthroughs on youtube while I work so I can prioritize what I really want to play and even then I don't always end up playing anything. Thank you for vlogging even though you do not feel your best. Try not to over do it though
I am a PC gamer, and absolutely addicted to playing Valheim. It's a PvE crafting/building/survival game based on Norse Mythology. My other main game of choice is GTA5 Roleplay. I've been doing that for about 3.5 years now.
Have you considered a vertical mouse? I have very small (child sized hands) and Ehlers-Danlos so my wrists dislocate so I had to be very picky about my mouse choice. Very little pain with a vertical mouse and ~2 years of use
Hope you are having a better day today. I enjoy crafting along to these vlogs and seeing your adorable pets. My all time go to for games is Dragon Age. XD BioWare has the keys to my wallet. As a kid I played a lot of games but my favorites were the kings quest series and the monkey island series.
Back in the day I played a LOT of Dungeon Keeper. It’s on Steam if you wanna check it out I hope you’re having a better day today! I have to get bloodwork done because my adhd med might be causing kidney issues 🥴 My symptoms aren’t as bad as yours, but I can somewhat relate, so I’m sending you some big, gentle hugs and good vibes that dialysis helps a lot. Tons of edema, fatigue, and being easily winded is not a fun time
My kinda video games are to the point and violent 😏 I love Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and Killer Instinct. My ADHD brain doesn't have the attention span for WOW 😂
I really wish I had gotten an adult advent calendar this year... I really wanted either the wine or cheese or David's this year.... every year i want one but I never get one for me, but all the kids got one, the dog, the cats ,and the hamster.. I used to love WoW but now running around alone makes my loneliness worse if i could find aoother friends that did it i would play again
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Got a Switch as a gift to my inner child for my healing journey and OMG. Best game. My kids and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Though rage inducing (LOL!) Hollow Knight seems to be the current game in our house.
I love playing video games and used to have all Pokémon games, but now my kids get them😅 but I am playing Dragon City on my PC mostly to show my 8yo that if he was consistent he would be way farther on the game as I started a couple of weeks ago and I'm already ahead of him. Love the video Cindy. Wish you were feeling better. Thanks for doing Vlogmas. Take care. Happy Holidays. Peace. Thumbs up to you and the video.

I agree with Sunny, it's a little dish to rest the teabags when you take them out of your cup. Sending love your way 💛
Katamari games are deeply satisfying when day has been difficult.

That tea advent calendar is beautiful
Cindy I hope you feel better soon.
It's the wet bag rest for when your bag is tired.
That bowl is definitely for your tea bags. I love advent calendars! I play Final Fantasy 14, Skyrim, Witcher 3. Persona 5 and Animal Crossing on the switch. I played WoW some years ago.
I love the sims! I’ve loved it in the past and I love it still now. 😂
Bowl shit! I almost spit out my coffee when R. J. said that!
Haha yes Sunne is spot on, it for you wet bags 😂 so they can dry a little before going in the trash/compost and not drip on the way
I think the little dish is for tea bags and/or possible your tea spoon. Last December I got super into Animal Crossing. As a kid I loved Zelda (Ocarina of Time)!

Yes, the little bowl is for your wet tea bag. Some people don't let their tea steep for long and save their bag for another cuppa.
My daughter and I are loving the new Disney Dreamlight Valley game. Very much Animal Crossing vibes.
I love advent calendars. We got the Lindt chocolate one and a Keurig coffee pod one.
Mario 3 was my all-time favorite followed closely by Tetris. I just got the Switch so I am enjoying playing Mario Kart for now and slowly exploring what other games I might enjoy.
Woot!! I’m loving Dragonflight! Glad to hear you’re playing again!

I bought the diamine inkvent calander and loved having a new ink every day and will be buying again at christmas
OMG. I love it. You talk to each other just like my family. I love it!
Animal Crossing got me through the PannyD without losing my mind too much! Lol
Back in the day it was Wolfenstein. Wet tea bag holder Sunny was right I think. I love hot tea.
I got the Cricket Paper Co advent calendar as well. It's been fun having something to open each day!
If you re-use teabags, you hold it in that cute little bowl!! 🌞
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
I love seeing different Advent calendars. They always give me good ideas for next Christmas gifts. I feel so basic when it comes to video games 😂 Mario Kart is my jam on Nintendo Switch and Yoshi's Crafted World

I think the bowl will make more sense when you open the other items.
My video favorite franchises are Silent Hill and Fatal Frame. I also love Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. Back in the day my gaming life was all about Asherons Call ~ Just found your channel and am looking forward to all the Vlogmas content.
I appreciate your authenticity! I love the Witcher video games.

Mario brothers!
Right now I'm just playing June's Journey on my phone. Back when I worked retail, I played a lot of Grand Theft Auto 3.
RJ is so very much your kid 🤣 💖🌈 to all
For the HORDE, always and forever no matter what.
I used to love playing Crash Bandicoot and Spyro when I was younger. My older brothers always helped me level up BC I'm the best at video games. Lol.
I would say Sunny is correct it’s for the used teabag.
Thinking of you sending a pre dialysis hug- it’s a hard gig.been there - you will feel better soon. Xo ❤ love your vlogs.
I’m playing Pokémon Violet right now and am really enjoying it!
Have you considered a vertical mouse? I have very small (child sized hands) and Ehlers-Danlos so my wrists dislocate so I had to be very picky about my mouse choice. Very little pain with a vertical mouse and ~2 years of use
I liked Need for Speed in my younger years😄
Hope you are having a better day today. I enjoy crafting along to these vlogs and seeing your adorable pets.
My all time go to for games is Dragon Age. XD BioWare has the keys to my wallet. As a kid I played a lot of games but my favorites were the kings quest series and the monkey island series.
This is going to be so random, but where did you get the bottom to your hydro flask?
Sonic Pinball!! Dating myself, but that was a FUN game!
Sorry you aren’t feeling well 💜
How are you doing so much when feeling shitty?… How?!?
Back in the day I played a LOT of Dungeon Keeper. It’s on Steam if you wanna check it out
I hope you’re having a better day today! I have to get bloodwork done because my adhd med might be causing kidney issues 🥴 My symptoms aren’t as bad as yours, but I can somewhat relate, so I’m sending you some big, gentle hugs and good vibes that dialysis helps a lot. Tons of edema, fatigue, and being easily winded is not a fun time
P sure they're right, its a wet bag bowl lolol

I’ve been away for quite a while. I remember a new kitten, but it appears that there is a new family member??
Could someone give me a rundown of the pets and their names? I started watching the vlogs and I'm not sure of everyone's name and am getting confused 🙁
Our entire family were Blizzard fiends for over 25 years, starting all the way back with Warcraft and playing EVERY game they put out.
When all the stuff came out about how horribly and heinously they were treating their female staff, passing around nude pics of one female employee and shaming her to the point that she un-alived herself, stealing breastmilk from the nursing mothers, having a "Cosby Suite" at Blizzcon, doing drunk "pub crawls" through the cubicles during working hours, and generally a corporate culture of misogyny and cover-ups for the higher-ups who participated in and perpetuated a culture of sexual harassment and sexual abuse for over 10 documented years, as well as taking popular add-ons and baking their code right into the base GUI without compensating or crediting the add-on developers, and buying out smaller gaming studios like Raven Soft--making them move to Wisconsin on their own dime and then telling them their contract had ended--or simply shutting down Z2Live (the CandyCrush guys, who were pulling in $200mil)...we cancelled all of our subscriptions and uninstalled.
That was May of '21, we haven't been back, and we won't be back. With 5 active players, most of us having at least 2 accounts because we're altoholics, tons of Realm Firsts under our belts, and thousands upon thousands of dollars poured into the games...we just uninstalled and walked away.
If we get the itch to play WoW again, we'll go hop on the Ascension servers where Blizz won't get a dime and the tiny Ascension team makes that WoW code do amazing things in mere weeks that we never got in nearly 2 decades of WoW.
PS - I got the TCMC advent calendar and the goodies are freaking ADORABLE. Even the packaging has exclusive artwork. I couldn't wait; opened them all as soon as I got my greedy little ADHD hands on the box.
poor you all the time ive watch you never heard you *admit* how awful you feeling . rest and do what you feel up to doing
fyi Ravin Rabids on wii i swear we nearly trashed living room
*cries* I can't play the new WoW expansion as I had hoped because my Mac is too old and can't cope. And I can't buy a new computer right now because I have no money. And a class action payout I was expecting is waaaaaaaaaaaay lower than projected and also won't cover a new computer. (Expected $20k, getting $5k. Much sobbing has been occuring). So all that on top of my list of chronic illnesses makes for a crummy week. Am a tad grumpy and sorry for myself. Sorry!
and the little bowl would either be for the teabag and / or your spoon.
Much to say!!
1) I love your relationships with your kids. I have never seen them on screen before and it was fun to see them.
2) I also loved Mario Bros 3 on the original Nintendo and my kids were impressed my skills recently when I had the chance to play on an old wii. Only time I’ll ever impress them on a video game.
3) I’m sorry you’re feeling so crappy. 💕🥺
4) so fun to see the spreadsheet and know that my name went on it!! 🥳🥲
