- This is my Review for the Numskull Space Invaders Quarter Arcade! Good things happen to those who wait and many customers have been waiting forever for Numskull to release their version of Space Invaders! Was it worth it? Should you buy? Is it good? There are a couple quirks but overall this mini Arcade Console might be the most true to original mini arcade recreation on the market today! Let's check it out! What an amazing machine. Mine came in last week and it's gorgeous. I was once naive enough to think Quarter Arcades and New Wave Toys were built on passion projects. I think I'm around 20 machines now and need more space.
While this was fantastically done, I hope Numskull starts adding HDMI ports like New Wave. However, was glad to see USB-C finally here.
With the reviews coming out this week, I imagine my TMNT will be shipping soon as well.

This is so cool. Looks so authentic! I’m not a big fan of Space Invaders, but if they keep this quality going, I would be very interested in the future with other arcades. Very impressive

Sometimes the price is worth the cost. If you are a collector and love Space Invaders this is a perfect device.

You know, some videos just make me smile. After hearing your elation getting your iiRcade Space Invaders, then the unfortunate news regarding what a lot of people face, giving up cabinets to make room for the best of the best collections, it is SO AWESOME Numskull was able to get you another great Space Invaders representation back in your collection!

Thanks Vegas! I did only give the iiRcade Space Invaders a 7.5 out of 10, not a bad score but not perfect. This is a solid 9 put of 10 recreation the speakers suck that's about it.
Shouldn't a Taito coin door say 100 yen instead of 25 cents?
I know Taito wants a fixed image for such an iconic title, but I'd like to see the Midway cab occasionally.
I really do like they replicated the backdrop.

I was lucky enough to get in a preorder over a year ago with Amazon, and I just got both versions sent to me last week. They are awesome!
Super cool mini arcade. I haven’t jumped into these little ones much minus my 1942 cab I got last year on sale. Thanks for the review, I may have to add another mini to the collection after seeing this.
This is on my list to pick up. Waiting for the holiday sales to finish up before pulling the trigger.

Im actually looking at building a matching arcade of these replicas and have the replica played on the full size cabs and placing them as a display with the cab. I'll make a video of them.

Yeah, they sell it for 700$ in my country 🙄. I am so tired of being asked to bend over for everything nowadays I just completely stopped spending money. They’re asking too much for everything.
Can looks great, wish A1up would have sold Space Invaders cab in Canada so I could have at least something at a decent price.

It would be cool if you could do a Qtr Arcades Space Invaders vs MyArcade Space Invaders. MyArcade can be a bit hit or miss with their mini cabs, but with their premium line of cabs (ie, SF2, Space Invaders), they really hit the mark at a fraction of the cost. SI even has the mirrored screen effect that's pretty convincing. Add 3dtrekker's custom risers, and you have a very decent 1/6 scale cab. See Glen's retro show on the topic:

Received Numskull Space Invaders with COIN and ARCADE STOOL... the ARCADE STOOL is made of entirely PLASTIC... cheap... For the amount of money spent on it, would expect better quality... waited 4 years for this ☹ 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎
