I am glad people are still interested in collecting these milsurp guns. I have three. I do not have the Jungle. I bought two No.4 s when RTI ran a special on the No.4 s and got two. My strategy was to maybe build a nice one out of the two. It worked out. I have a bore snake and one No.4 s has nice rifling, The other is rotted out. Research how to rework the pitted action and stock, and they will turn out even better than they are now. Welcome to the RTI roulette wheel game.
@@herrcobblermachen dude...I'm so happy!! Did a quick 5 rd shoot before all the storms with my no4 and no5.. they both shoot awesome with 180gr ppu!! Not a single keyhole! I will video later...
Unless you are part of an English Gun Club, and shoot them for sport, or intend to hunt game with it, a C or even a B classification is all that really required, since all you are essentially buying is a bit of history, and little else. For even a chance to have a MILSURP that is completely original and in great physical condition, it would have had come from a conflict after issue, and taken as a souvenir shortly after the soldiers end. All these things have been re- arsenaled, and parts swapped so many times that they are hardly the weapon issued back in the day. Most of us are fortunate if RTI didn't just send a box of rusty steel and saw dust for what they are selling these out the door at.
@@KH2837 My No4 (MkII) bayonet does have a Mk I scabbard though! Lots of Patt MkI bayonets in the UK, though always wanted the early P.1907 with the hooked quillon.
What a lineup of history! You could show these to people and talk for an hour about the differences in technology and manufacturing.

if any one askes its not pitting on the no4 , its a "non slip" textured finish just like the grip on a glock 😉
@@chrisgosling6083 lmao!!! Awesome...
It should have a lightening hole in the bolt handle as I understand it.
@navyvet7665 correct...but that's what I was sent..lol
It appears the bolt on the no5 isn't a no5 bolt.
@@navyvet7665 yep...correct. that's what it came with...
