The effects of overexposing children to screens
The campaign aims to raise awareness and educate the population, but also state institutions on the impact of virtual average consumption (tablet, smart phone, TV, computer, laptop, etc.) on young children aged 0-3 years.
The project aims to: reduce the number of children, with a diagnosis of delay in psychomotor development, delay in the appearance and development of language, opposition disorder and / or even worse behavior of ADHD or even autism, caused by excessive vision (over 4-5 hours / day) of TV programs or other forms of virtual reality (mobile, tablet, computer), in the age period 0-3 years.
The project and the entire campaign were the initiative of clinical psychologist Marius Teodor Zamfir with the support of two NGOs: the Association for Child Mental Health and the Foundation for Children in Difficulty - CID Romania.
Psychologist Marius Teodor Zamfir was the first to identify, observe, conduct and publish the first studies related to this phenomenon of the effect of overexposure of children on screens, which in the most severe forms can lead to Virtual Autism.

In 2019, a specific method for recovering children with Virtual Autism was launched, called the TECE Method (Screen Consumption Elimination Therapy).
For the translation and adaptation services in English, the Traduce.re team came to our support, led by Ana Rosca, who declared herself a supporter of this special project from the first moment.
