I think a lot of us grew a true emotional attachment to the first version we heard. There was simply nothing wrong with it. Sometimes that’s just always gonna be better when it’s untouched… and this shouldn’t have been.

This one version was uploaded almost 10 years ago onto soundcloud. I got it from there

I've recently just got into this band so I was just wondering What is the difference between this and the album version?
The mix. In the album version you have a lot of drawbacks in how well the preproduction "breathes". You can feel how much more room it has, if you listen to it side by side. The album version is more compressed in that sense. I get goosebumps listening to this version every time, album version I usually skip.
Seems like they didnt change any lyrics or anything tbh lol 3:46 they didnt add the "i've been waiting" part
