bruh,DAL its great without Kurumi,its just anime gave her to much attention to detritment of other girls that actually hold the spotlight(Tohka is main girl),and now anime fans live under ilusions about Kurumi,go read LN and see how hard Tachibana shelves her later and past volume 17,will have not much Kurumi(Kurumi herself will become more present,but her being the center of atention NEVER again),and other spirits will dominate the spotlight(Tohka,Yoshino and Origami will get pretty important in late DAL with Yoshino backstory being one of my favourites),and the show will become by the end EXTREMELLY Tohka centric,so its better to you Kurumi fan brace yourself.

MVP of the show: even if she is not the main reason someone sees Date a Live, she is probably the main reason someone sees the other seasons. Seriously, MVP of the series: not only she has the only character designs wich can be analized(she is asymmetrical in her twin tails and weapons resembling the clock needles, and other details that shows effort on her design) but is the only one who is seem to actually respect Shidou while respecting herself. Also, she appears to have plans on the future, and that's something to be taken in count considering everyone else just lives the moment.

Nope if you read the LN volume 17 you can read kurumi past when she still a highschool girl and have a rich family, until she become the sole survivors of her own family when a big spacequake happen in her town. She wandered aimlessly and seeing the first spirit "harvest" a sephira crystal from a failed spirit. Then She invited to join her to harvest sephira crystal too. She gained new power from Zafkiel Sephira Crystal and become the super heroine that saves the city. But She didn't know the real identity of failed spirit which she hunted. Until she kill the one and the only best friend she had Yamauchi Sawa or Sawa-san with her own hands, and harvest Camael Sephira Crystal from her body. It makes her sad, regret and feels the desperation about killing innocent human with her own hands and murder them with the term of justice and saves people lifes. Then She confronts The first Spirit as her own archenemy, but The first spirit able to escape and teleport to other dimensions unknowns to Kurumi

Additional facts (These are some sort of spoiler from the LN, so read at discretion) . . . . . . . . . - Kurumi saved Shido 600+ times, not counting the snippets of her during Mayuri Judgement and Itsuka Disaster. (Not gonna elaborate on this, coz it's a crucial spoiler). - Kurumi is the first spirit to ever resist an inversion. - Although, Kurumi is third in terms of appearance on the series, Kurumi is the first one to be given the "purified" sephira crystal by the spirit of Origin - Kurumi was forced to kill her mutated friend unknowingly. She knew later that the Spirit of Origin, is using humans to purify the Sephira Crystal (some sort of (distillator). An unpurified Sephira Crystal was inserted on her friend which Kurumi killed. She berserked and almost turned inverse. - Kurumi's sixth bullet Vav, was unknowingly partly sealed by Shido after the Kurumi vs Kotori fight. Kurumi kissed Shido just for fun, to thank him for saving her. But she didn't know that she opened herself to him a little and didn't expect one of her bullets to be sealed. Vav became an important plot device for Shido. It is interesting to note that, it waa there since first season, and shido had only known and used in the the later, end parts of the story. - The "Real and Original" Tokisaki Kurumi died when she got donuted by Dio. (Of course it's not DIO, but you get it right LN fams?). The one that survived is a clone with memories of the "Real and Original" Kurumi. So technically, the " Real and Original" Kurumi is dead. - Kurumi hates the Spirit of Origin so much, that she wasn't particularly happy when Shido decided that he'll save her too. SPOILER WARNING ! in date a live light novel her real goal is to consume shido to get the nine spirit powers that was successfully sealed by shido, Kurumi uses it to kill the spirit master to destroy history of the spirit and vanish the spirit powers in date a live universe, the name of the spirit master is mio takamiya.
Just,a little comment Kurumi is far from the strongest spirit in Date a Live, she bellow all battle spirits in actual strenght(Origami,Tohka,Kotori,Yamai Kazamachi and Siryon mode Yoshino and Mukuro),besides the obvious first spirit. Her losses agaisnt Kotori and Siryon Yoshino,further proves this points,Tohka and Origami are basically Kotori on steroids,Kurumi would lose pretty hard.
Kurumi lost to Kotori bcuz she already used a lot of reiryoku bcuz of other fights so basically she almost wrecked Kotori in a weakened state. And let’s be honest, if she REALLY wanted to kill them she would've done so by just summoning like dunno… over 100 clones like how she did against DEM? Maybe the clones wouldn't have been very effective against yoshino bcuz of the ice blizzard thingy, but I think yoshinos mentality is quite weak and easily breakable. Mind broken = easy target. She'd definitely massacre most spirits. And yes even if most spirits have more strength than her, her angel itself is already incredibly strong being capable of stopping time ffs. The only spirits that would probably be capable of beating her (excluding mio) would probably be inverse tohka, maybe devil Origami, white queen since they're both pretty much equal in power(yes she was defeated but they both were equal so both could have died, it all probably depended on luck), and westcott for sure (with spirit power) and of course endgame shido with all spirit powers. And let’s not forget that the more we get into the novels, the more we see that she gets even stronger. Anyone that reads this holy shit I feel sorry for you.
Kurumi didnt waste much power fighting other girls,in Date a Bullet novel Kurumi clone used way more bullets with less time and resources,that normal Kurumi that its way stronger,and normal Kurumi is 100% stronger than White Queen since she is merely a clone,but WQ is stronger than DAB Kurumi,in DAB novel Kurumi admits she cant win WQ in pure power but she wons due to cunning and solid strategy(using ninth bullet Tet to control Leo Bullet Arie) Kurumi if so strong why she lose to Yoshino at the peak of her power?,while I admit that Kurumi didnt use Zafkiel that would be literally cheating since she could use two astral dresses(and Kurumi wasnt holding back she merely didnt use Zafkiel power and renyouku using merely Rasiel),while everone else just had one ,plus Yoshino was tired after defeating Natsumi and Miku,Yoshino is literally a Underrated superpower,if Yoshino wasnt a pacifist she would be a extremelly strong spirit,since she has pretty solid stats than better that Kurumi by the way,the second strongest defense(not defense stat) in the series besides Tohka,besides Siryon mode that makes Yoshino the fastest spirit probably only behind Retalibish Tohka and Kazamachi Yamai,Yoshino isnt weak mentally,but contrary she is a shrewd and smart spirit,since she is actually older in age than Kurumi(Yoshino its the third spirit to be created) and more experienced in fighting despite avoiding open fighting she is one of most loyal and dedicated fighters of Shido gang. While Yoshino is a pretty solid spirit without glaring weakness,Kurumi powers are pretty good,but they mostly arent suited for fighting,Kurumi sucks at atrition,since she has a abmismally fragile,to the point a direct Megiddo would kill her,a direct attack of Halvanhelev,Artelif or Jerez kill Kurumi,the Beast that is basically Tohka(after losing her swords basically and not even having Nahemah power that Tohka normally has),managed to tank two doubly Gabriel(powered by Gabriel and Haniel) powered Artelif and Megiddo,after being ganged by 9 spirits and still come out mostly intact,tell me can Kurumi puny bullet even dream to hurt a full powered Tohka,when only a top rate Fire power like Mukuro,Kotori or Origami can touch her,and still even if Tohka is somewhat destroyed,she will come back unless Kurumi destroyes her Sephira,which is impossible to Kurumi. and Mukuro can 100% sure defeat Kurumi,if she can merelly do Segva to all spirits without nobody noticing,she can do the same to Kurumi,even if she somewhat fails to do that she still is strong enough to wipe the floor,since Mukuro Shifuru is Inverse Tohka level that you admit its strong enough to defeat Kurumi,Mukuro has hax more broken that Kurumi without any of Kurumi downsides and strong enough defense to manage a Artelif from Origami.

- Kurumi saved Shido 600+ times, not counting the snippets of her during Mayuri Judgement and Itsuka Disaster. (Not gonna elaborate on this, coz it's a crucial spoiler).
- Kurumi is the first spirit to ever resist an inversion.
- Although, Kurumi is third in terms of appearance on the series, Kurumi is the first one to be given the "purified" sephira crystal by the spirit of Origin
- Kurumi was forced to kill her mutated friend unknowingly.
She knew later that the Spirit of Origin, is using humans to purify the Sephira Crystal (some sort of (distillator). An unpurified Sephira Crystal was inserted on her friend which Kurumi killed. She berserked and almost turned inverse.
- Kurumi's sixth bullet Vav, was unknowingly partly sealed by Shido after the Kurumi vs Kotori fight.
Kurumi kissed Shido just for fun, to thank him for saving her. But she didn't know that she opened herself to him a little and didn't expect one of her bullets to be sealed. Vav became an important plot device for Shido. It is interesting to note that, it waa there since first season, and shido had only known and used in the the later, end parts of the story.
- The "Real and Original" Tokisaki Kurumi died when she got donuted by Dio. (Of course it's not DIO, but you get it right LN fams?). The one that survived is a clone with memories of the "Real and Original" Kurumi.
So technically, the " Real and Original" Kurumi is dead.
- Kurumi hates the Spirit of Origin so much, that she wasn't particularly happy when Shido decided that he'll save her too.
Even after the Spirit of Origin died, she still resented her.
- Kurumi was the only spirit to get a hold of two angels.

In fact, she saved Shidou 204x using the sixth VAV bullet and she was not the first spirit to be transformed by Mio but Honjou Nia.
And in volume 19, she transferred her Sephira and consciousness to a clone who survived and repaired her body with Dalet and then transferred the sephira and consciousness back into the main body who now has dual personality.

Just,a little comment Kurumi is far from the strongest spirit in Date a Live, she bellow all battle spirits in actual strenght(Origami,Tohka,Kotori,Yamai Kazamachi and Siryon mode Yoshino and Mukuro),besides the obvious first spirit.
Her losses agaisnt Kotori and Siryon Yoshino,further proves this points,Tohka and Origami are basically Kotori on steroids,Kurumi would lose pretty hard.
Kurumi lost to Kotori bcuz she already used a lot of reiryoku bcuz of other fights so basically she almost wrecked Kotori in a weakened state. And let’s be honest, if she REALLY wanted to kill them she would've done so by just summoning like dunno… over 100 clones like how she did against DEM? Maybe the clones wouldn't have been very effective against yoshino bcuz of the ice blizzard thingy, but I think yoshinos mentality is quite weak and easily breakable. Mind broken = easy target. She'd definitely massacre most spirits. And yes even if most spirits have more strength than her, her angel itself is already incredibly strong being capable of stopping time ffs. The only spirits that would probably be capable of beating her (excluding mio) would probably be inverse tohka, maybe devil Origami, white queen since they're both pretty much equal in power(yes she was defeated but they both were equal so both could have died, it all probably depended on luck), and westcott for sure (with spirit power) and of course endgame shido with all spirit powers. And let’s not forget that the more we get into the novels, the more we see that she gets even stronger. Anyone that reads this holy shit I feel sorry for you.
Kurumi didnt waste much power fighting other girls,in Date a Bullet novel Kurumi clone used way more bullets with less time and resources,that normal Kurumi that its way stronger,and normal Kurumi is 100% stronger than White Queen since she is merely a clone,but WQ is stronger than DAB Kurumi,in DAB novel Kurumi admits she cant win WQ in pure power but she wons due to cunning and solid strategy(using ninth bullet Tet to control Leo Bullet Arie)
Kurumi if so strong why she lose to Yoshino at the peak of her power?,while I admit that Kurumi didnt use Zafkiel that would be literally cheating since she could use two astral dresses(and Kurumi wasnt holding back she merely didnt use Zafkiel power and renyouku using merely Rasiel),while everone else just had one ,plus Yoshino was tired after defeating Natsumi and Miku,Yoshino is literally a Underrated superpower,if Yoshino wasnt a pacifist she would be a extremelly strong spirit,since she has pretty solid stats than better that Kurumi by the way,the second strongest defense(not defense stat) in the series besides Tohka,besides Siryon mode that makes Yoshino the fastest spirit probably only behind Retalibish Tohka and Kazamachi Yamai,Yoshino isnt weak mentally,but contrary she is a shrewd and smart spirit,since she is actually older in age than Kurumi(Yoshino its the third spirit to be created) and more experienced in fighting despite avoiding open fighting she is one of most loyal and dedicated fighters of Shido gang.
While Yoshino is a pretty solid spirit without glaring weakness,Kurumi powers are pretty good,but they mostly arent suited for fighting,Kurumi sucks at atrition,since she has a abmismally fragile,to the point a direct Megiddo would kill her,a direct attack of Halvanhelev,Artelif or Jerez kill Kurumi,the Beast that is basically Tohka(after losing her swords basically and not even having Nahemah power that Tohka normally has),managed to tank two doubly Gabriel(powered by Gabriel and Haniel) powered Artelif and Megiddo,after being ganged by 9 spirits and still come out mostly intact,tell me can Kurumi puny bullet even dream to hurt a full powered Tohka,when only a top rate Fire power like Mukuro,Kotori or Origami can touch her,and still even if Tohka is somewhat destroyed,she will come back unless Kurumi destroyes her Sephira,which is impossible to Kurumi.
and Mukuro can 100% sure defeat Kurumi,if she can merelly do Segva to all spirits without nobody noticing,she can do the same to Kurumi,even if she somewhat fails to do that she still is strong enough to wipe the floor,since Mukuro Shifuru is Inverse Tohka level that you admit its strong enough to defeat Kurumi,Mukuro has hax more broken that Kurumi without any of Kurumi downsides and strong enough defense to manage a Artelif from Origami.
