Goldberg Variations: Var. 25 ‘Black Pearl’

Another excerpt from my senior piano recital, in which I performed Bach's Goldberg Variations.
The third and final G Minor variation, 25 is tragically chromatic. Bach himself marked it
Adagio. The great Wanda Landowska famously termed this “the black pearl” of the Variations. To me it is the shadow of Variation 13.
