Hello Rich, the opportunity of Digital Marketing the way you explain it sounds wonderful. But were can I train to become a digital Marketer, do I need a Degree in it? A BootCamp course or is it self teaching?
For someone looking into switching from customer service to digital marketing, this was very insightful. I am currently looking for a change, and I came across digital marketing, and I said to myself, learning digital marketing. I can do it in both as working with a company or I can even start my own business. I can meet and connect with people while learning about business, etc. Thanks for helping me decide to go for it and learn digital marketing 🎉🎉😊
Most of all, I find your videos encouraging Rich-- thanks! Your intro and edits are very cool, and I like the young vibe throughout. That said, one thing I like about Digital Marketing, is that it's not age restrictive... as long as you get your clients ROI, you can be 14 or 79. I'm a highly educated person, who made the switch to DM fairly late. I appreciate both the evergreen truths initiated in earlier generations, plus the innovative insights of more modern ones. You obviously think the same way, and I believe you play a highly effective role in the niche!
Start with an online course. Google digital marketing and e-commerce on coursera. You pay a monthly subscription so the faster you learn , the less you pay. It's a simple yet broad course. You touch base on everything. Which is nice because you can decide what you want to go in depth on. Spending 30 minutes a day on it will put you ahead of schedule. If possible, you can do more on weekends.
I enjoyed learning about Digital Marketing through your video but it feels like everyone makes it seem like it is so easy. Or, they offer you a course of some kind to land a job. I can't tell what's real or not.
relatively speaking i do think it is easy. I think you'll fine engineering, or law, or CPA more difficult. This is a fun industry to actually learn. For some people they pick it up faster than others but you are learning basic content marketing and digital advertising - this goes a long way in the current market. I think you'll find learning in a community can be quite powerful. We have weekly calls and its pretty small groups so you can get your questions answered easily and progress. If you can put in 2-3 hours a day towards this or more, you can change your life in 12 months.
I think your analysis about digital marketing is based on the US market only. Most (Small and medium scale entrepreneurs) in other areas of the world see paying a digital marketer as a waste. They actually dont budget for marketing and branding etc....
And your analysis comes from what experience might I ask? Although I agree branding is not as popular in some parts of the world, reaching customers is a must and its impossible online without digital marketing.
Hey Rich, I’m think of changing careers into marketing, however I know not much about it. Should I pursue a certificate degree or would it be better to attend an academy type of education? Hoping for advice, Josh
Rich is the real deal. Joined his community in October and officially got my first client in December.
My man!

Thanks Bryan!
I guess the hardest part is finding the time to learn. There is so much you can learn, so little time.
If we don't find time to learn, the future will pass us by!
@@richandniche I like that thanks!🙏
Gotta make the time bro. 15-20 mins a day can be a game changer
