    Richard, if you had a trellis that you wanted to discontinue growing, would you chop off all the branches and graft a new type on to the main root stocks?

    • @GraftingDragonFruit
      @GraftingDragonFruit  Год назад +2

      That is correct! That’s exactly what I do with my established trellis, if I didn’t like the variety. I would just chop it off and graft a new variety that I like onto it.

    • @ThecaptsVLOG
      @ThecaptsVLOG Год назад

      @@GraftingDragonFruit I’m assuming you would bring the whole trellis in the shade for the grafting?

      Wallace Ranch. If you get large cuttings, you will get fruit within one year. The sugar dragon that I got less than two months ago already has one fruit and is not yet fully rooted.

    Hi Richard, thank you for this taste test! A couple of question for you: from your experience is it self-fertile or requires cross-pollination? Is it an aggressive grower variety?

  • @pitahayahuaral4918
    @pitahayahuaral4918 Год назад +2

    El problema es que muchos venden por vender y confunden de variedades.
    Existen muchas variedades de Golden tantas originales como injertados.
    Cada una varían tanto en sabor,tasa de fertilidad, resistencia tanta de la planta como de la fruta.
    La que probaste es solo para colección, la Isis Australiana,no se recomienda para cultivos masivos,al igual la Golden Yellow es otra que es solo para colección,tiene bastante acidez no tanto como la Australiana.
    La mejor es la Golden ISIS y la golden Israel
    La golden ISIS la confunden mucho con la ISIS Australiana que es ácida.
    Y muchos venden por lucrar plantas de Yellow o de la ISIS Australiana cómo Golden israel o Isis,solo para lucrar o porque no tienen el conocimiento de los nombres de las variedades.
    Saludos y buen vídeo 🤝🌵

    Hi Richard
    How do you increase the size of your fruit?

    • @GraftingDragonFruit
      @GraftingDragonFruit  Год назад

      This is done by thinning fruits and leaving only 1-2 per branch. Fertilizing every 2 weeks and the genetics it carry will also improve fruit size.
