I got a nice message from a Somers I played with earlier cause I tried playing like this. I was alone on my flank in my Hipper so I started kiting and ended up pulling them into a cross fire with the Somers and he got a Kraken out of it. Sometimes you just gotta be the team player. May not be my kraken but at least I made it possible.
Love videos like this, very beneficial for the players that actually watch, learn, and implement the concepts. I’ve always played destroyers with some cruiser play. Now focusing a little more on cruisers and it’s made me a better destroyer player plus I get to enjoy the extra firepower of the cruisers.
I really like when you make content to help the community to be stronger players not only for themselves but also to the benefit of their team. If I may have one request, for a long time now I’ve been watching your videos and I’m constantly looking to see how you’re working the ship throttle in any given situation but obviously that’s never possible given where your “player window” is placed, any chance it can be placed a lil higher on the right so we have a clear view of the throttle? How we play the throttle in the game is a big piece of helping us to be better players! Thank you for at least considering my request 😁
Hey I got in a video! 😂 I remember this game from a little bit ago, was really stressful with the mid not playing it at least not very well, was upset you were left out there. Tried my best to support ya by pushing over to draw the fire away.
I've been terrible at cruisers and has died way too many time in just a short period amount of time, and i have noticed this, and what i usually did is to not be the tip of the spear everytime the match starts, and i've been angling and dodging bullets, but it has never been enough to make me better in playing cruisers. So this i think will certainly help me out, and great video as always.
This is zao specific for me... but does anyone else use enemy greed because your in a japanese cruiser and lob a random salvo once your angled away to get them to fire at you soo they will give away their positions? 😅
would love to see a video like this with brisbon, i struggle to do well in most games with that ship, and most Brisbane/minotaur players seem useless lol
I'm so good at drawing enemy fire, sometimes I wish my team would shoot at the ships that I'm distracting, but sometimes it goes like that. I started playing DDs mainly and I am having a blast, don't have as many leveled ships, but getting traction. Battleship accuracy vs actual battleship damage that registers seems to be way off at the moment, especially with my dispersion build. Thanks for the content.
one detail is important: some cruiser had good bow armor (stalingrad , colbert , worcester) others had better casemate/belt (like zao and italians) , and some just dont have it like mino , sometimes is better angle and sometimes is better put you bow twords the shells, i get what you talk about but depends on the matchup coz overmatch is a thing ,( just to clarify for new players)
yes! two oceans one cup breakdown, plz. as granular level analysis as possible. scrubbing forward and backwards, zooming in on the minimap. full on sportscenter breakdown
Would it be worth doing a video where you analyze a loss? To show the incorrect decision making to avoid, bad positioning etc, so we can try and avoid such situations.

I said that in the video but yes when you need to bow tank when appropriate but this is more for mobile/fast cruisers
