Hi asir bro, i am muruganantham from Coimbatore. i am your big fan. I am also using a ford figo car for last one year and now. It's very joy and fun to drive. This drive in city and highways very superb. I love this steering, very fine tuning and smooth. Before i drive this car i am not confident but i watch your most of the car reviews and drive tips, then i have confident to drive, now i drive easily to everywhere. I always follow your words "wear seat belts" "Drive safely and responsibility ". Thanks bro. Cheers.

Expecting this review for long time, I am a proud owner of Ford Figo 1.4 TDCi, 150k kms done, personally attached to this car, no plans to sell it until it goes to scrap.
Steering and braking is top notch.
For ground clearance issue, i replaced the stock tyres with 185/65/R14 tyres, No issues after this change.
This car was designed and developed in Ford Germany, First launched in 2002.

I bought figo tdci 2013 model I used it for 5 years. its 3rd gear pulling power is rocket. never false gear shift. precise steering, road grip and ride quality is excellent. best music system, As you said is true back seat thigh support very comfortable. I hadn't single puncher for five years. I upgrade to dzire. but whenever I see figo passes on road I feel I missed it and why I sold it. your video recalled my golden days with figo. hats off for ford.

Mine is Ford Figo 2011 white Titanium Diesel..
One of the Best cars among that segment in most of the aspects.. during that Period..
    1. Excellent Drivability..
    2. High speed stability on Highways ( I normally drive like a Sports Bike )
3.City as well as Highways Comfortability.. Absolutely Feeling No Tired..
    4. Bluetooth compatibility in 2010..
    5. Wizard light indicating during Emergency Breaking
    6. 18 speed wiper..
    7. Excellent windshield without Blind Spot.. ( Very clear view)
    8.Superb Milage with Excellent Torque..
    9. Dual Airbag.. Fabulous Airconditioner..
    10. Excellent Build in quality ..
    11. Very Confident Breaking..
    12. Coat Hook at Rear Seat in 2010
The only Issue I faced was the Ground clearance.., which I rectified by replacing upgraded Tyre profile with Same Radius..
I really searched a lot for the past 3 years to get a replacement for my Ford Figo, but my result is Failure, as none of the Diesel cars below 25 lakhs match to this Profile.. including Ford vehicles..
The only car which was better than Figo is BMW 320D, but the cost was more than 50 lakhs..
Still I am driving the car both Day and Night , City as well as Highways, with fabulous service from Authorised Ford Service station ..
    Great car for Generations..👍

I have had a petrol 2016 version . Among petrol cars in this segment , in 2016 a car without ABS EBD had a great stability , mileage depending how we drive and one thing is life saver Braking system . Its very tough to realise for anyone to even realise if the car has abs or not .. Maintainence I would even say the cheapest even when compared to wagon r or alto .. I have driven 39000 kms in 6.6 yrs and have spent only 30-32000 rs. in servicing .

I am using my 5th Ford ikon it's 1.4 TDCI durotorq, it's an amazing feeling,.milege about 20 plus..you can drive up to 175 ..but you wont feel any vibration..driving, you can't compare with another cars . Stability is superb..taking a left turn or right turn or taking a diversion..you can do it at 100 plus.,.recently I was speeding in redhills bypass ..a Mercedes muv driver rolled down the window in a diversion and told me that he never knew ikon goes this much speed in a sharp turn..hope Ford will come back to India.

Proud owner of 1st generation red figo diesel with 1 lakh 9 thousand km. Just install a suspension stabilizer and a bigger tyre and will 100 percent solve the ground clearance issue. There was No drop in mileage.
The ride, comfort , handling even at 150km speed is still amazing. 17 plus milege in long drives even driving above 120 km with AC.
Today's market, i need to spend at least 15 lakh plus to get a stability vehicle like this.

Hi MW , I like the way you present the videos. You won't use the words just like that semaya irukum, super ah irukum and so.. you specifically say the name of the parts , specs that shows yours and your teams efforts and knowledge. And another personal connect is I am also a fan of ford especially Ford Fiesta classic. I need your suggestion in buying 2011 model Ford Figo petrol 45,000 kms run single owner.. What are the points to check and what is the fair price to buy

  • @stanyog
    @stanyog 4 месяца назад

Sir, i am a fan of your knowledge of cars and the presentation. 🎉 I own a Figo TDCi 2011 year.
It is, as you said, a gem of a car. It is truly an all-rounder-- ride, handling, performance, fuel economy, interior space, pocket friendly to maintain, air conditioning!!
The only draw back was the Ground clearance, which i overcame by installing 185/65 R14 tyres instead of 175/...
I too got one of the fuel injectors blocked last year, i.e, 12 years after buying!! Though i would buy a bigger Sedan in the near future wouldn't sell this one.❤😊

Regarding the injector, I don't think it's a cost-cutting measure. I recall Ford using Piezo injectors for their common-rail systems, which were indeed quite expensive. During that period, I recommended the Ford Figo to many people, and today they're happy with their choice. Not only did I recommend it, but I also made an effort to find a second-hand Figo for myself at a reasonable price.
Honestly, from the moment I drove it, the Figo stood out as one of the most comfortable cars to drive. Yes, rusting is an issue, but it's something that can be welded and fixed. The car itself is exceptional. It has a passion and youthful energy, resembling the global spec Ford Focus RS with its interesting green color. I always wanted the Titanium variant but could only get the mid-spec version. I kept the interior stock and didn't add a touchscreen.
The Figo has its own charm and emotion. Even though there were other options like the Swift, Punto (which is a nice car), Polo, and some others not worth mentioning, the Figo still has a unique vibe. To this day, I haven't found another car that offers the same experience within the same budget.
