Love the insight. I’m 6 months in and I’ve been trying my best to follow your steps. This is 1000% harder than being a real estate agent !!!

Hey Sam! How would you say being a MLO is harder than being an agent? And would you say it’s still worth it even though it is harder?

I am a "loan officer" or "home loan consultant" in South Africa.
The competition here is fierce and the estate agents are high maintenance and and and...
I do the business so differently that I dont even have the competition the other officers or consultants have.
Maybe I should come over to visit and give it a bash while on holiday.

Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to teach what seems like such a difficult industry to find a lens into. I am interested in your company as well if you are still there and are hiring!

I passed the exam on January 20th. I am starting the application process now. I need a sponsor. Is that when you get hired at a company? I asked because I have my current job and I can't up and quit right now. June gives me time to become an MLO.

    Hi Enrique!
Nice content as always. Last time I watched your video and came up with this question but could not ask at that time. Where can I download guidelines (FHA, Conventional, Fannie Mae, etc.)? Thank you!

Your lender should be able to provide these. Each lender has their own set I haven’t been able to find them online.

you know as someone who owns a home and has to pay monthly mortgage its what makes jumping into a career like this hard. Idc about making my 1st 5-20K I'll already be thinking of the next deal to close to even really care about that

Exactly!!! Takes a lot of discipline and I don’t recommend it for people who are jumping in cold with no other income

Really the best thing would be to have a 1 on 1 coach at the company you are at. Very very few companies offer this so the only other option is you figuring things out for yourself which is okay. I had to do the second and just figure things out on my own. I also watch a lot of Mortgage Coach Videos. Great channel
