Boots are worth it, in most spots boots like the hunter boots make a huge difference, especially if your in a position that shows off your feet. If you think about it a tuck mostly relies on being dressed dark not being quiet, odds are if you are going for a tuck nobody is on the ship and if you are running about odds are you are shutting down the crew your tucked on
And Also for the Boat tucking spots: Gallons : behind weel, behind chair, behind a cannon or next to the wardrobe Brigantine : behind quest spot, behind map, behind cannon Sloop : behind cannon on the glitch place behind the boat or behind map You can also tuck in any piece of Loot or on the island (see Hitbotc video above comment section) and remember to use the hiding emote, not sleeping A great wealthy pirate

Stole an Athena from fotd yesterday, and I used a rowboat but stopped it far away from the galleon parked there. I boarded them and then tucked behind captains chair, and as soon as they brought the Athena, I jumped off and went back to my rowboat and rowed to the outpost.

Found some better spot, just found THE best spot, u see the highest tower, well 3 feets under it, is a half glitch space, leave the ladder before the top and enjoy the hide

I can confirm that swimming from a nearby island is mega sneaky and works. My crew had just beat grayMarrow when a crew rolled up with a gunpowder barrel from a nearby island...We lost 😔😂
I personally row to the back of the island by the rocks and tuck under the water near the rowboat. That way not only the crew has much lesser chance of seeing the rowboat, your mermaid will not pop, so the crew won’t even know that your there. Take this seriously, after all, this is advice, from The Whale Lord.
Here is a tip if you are doing the fotd and you spot a stealer take the reapers then detach a rowboat on the island with someone on let the stealers chase you while your friend is loading on the rowboat then turn into plunder
Ive been playing this game for a few weeks and today my friend started. while we were playing i told him about the gold/blue skeletons that are really rare. then 3 min later he says he sees one and i didnt belive and then i get a popup that i got ancient coins.
I mega bombed a sloop 3 times, on the bottom of the boat, when no one was on it, but it never sank... they always repaired it instantly, and every time they boarded us, the dude had a sword, pistol, and blunder at once... and its not like they switched out either, they never went below deck...
Personally I think that they should increase the dangers of being in the seas of the game. 1 or 2 sharks aren't enough to stop someone from swimming 800 meters in open water. Maybe jellyfish, or sea snakes?
Next time you could show key hiding spots on "the molten sands fortress". I know only 1 spot at the moment: On the 2nd part of the island (that have volcano in the middle), near the tent, player can drop key on the top of the rock (it points on the bridge, its huge, and it placed in the right side from the tent), and model of this rock is not that high as his texture, so key falls under the textures, but it still on the rock.
Asking for an alliance because you just want the commendations always works for me. Follow them to the outpost and sink em. Even easier if they have a mega keg on board!
A few days ago I did a fort of the damed tuck and somehow managed to hide my ship at the fort I parked it behind the island snd they somehow did not see it I can’t believe I was able to pull that off.
If the enemies watch their ship this whole thing foils. Me and my buddies watch the ship and even if they have kegs we kill them and then scoop/fix by doing this we rarely ever sink
i was searching for a server to do rage legend quest but ended up finding a FOTD. long story short i had an amazing tuck and only one guy was suspicious of me the rest were eager for loot. All i care about is the Athena and when they open the vault i tell my teammate to come from crooks hollow. i grab it from the boat and drop it next to the later after i kill 1 guy at the front of the galleon. i look back after a second the athena was GONE. then i see someone in the water were i dropped it. thinking he had it i killed him but it was still not there. i then watched the footage again and heard water sounds after i ran up to the wheel. Cant catch em all i guess

Haha I love how much people try to steal the fort but are pretty bad. They probably watch tons of hours of guide but they forget that they arent pirate, they are sailor. You guys must first train yourself to boarding ships, kill everyone and sink the boat before trying to steal big thing like this :DD

If you're gonna be _that guy_ , do it this way. A quick, crafty swipe is far more respectable than a drawn out siege. Don't be the knob that harasses a crew for _THREE AND A HALF HOURS_ because you have no life. I'm still so damn salty about that and it's been like two months lmao The fort takes at most 25-30 minutes to finish with a good crew, I know because I helped my buddy crank out like 15 in two days it was straight up wild. If you can't swipe it cuz the crew knows what you're up to, try someone dumber.
I hate that you added this, I done a Fotd and there was three sloops parked around the surrounding islands not alliance, they consistently started swimming to the Fotd, I ended up destroying a sloop leaving 2 sloops in which the 2 ghost ships destroyed 1 of them and ramming into my parked ship agroimg them to me, the last sloop and 2 ghost ships attacked me at the same time
Last night me and a couple friends beat the fort of the damned. We took all the loot on our ship and the moment we set sail, we got DESTROYED full team of PC kids just trashed on us. The amount of disrespect I WAS PISSSSSSSSEDDD

It all depends. Even the most experienced crews make mistakes.
